  1. Simple leaflet handed out, calmly, to those at the bar explaining the impact of their actions should do it. No stress, no antagonism, better information. Job done?
  2. I'd have come up already as POTG and done the near 400 mile round trip with my daughter and spent a small fortune in the store. Not until he's gone. Sad to be at home, but better for the club. Probablywon't see a game this season Enough is enough.
  3. Personally, I thought the atmosphere was pretty flat, the build up play was laborious and 'tired'. A couple of bright moments of quick passing and good movement broke up a forgettable game. For those that go far more often than I, it may be the norm! Honourable mentions for Smith and Windass, though little goal threat from the former.
  4. Yep, and I drove a 360 mile round trip to see it
  5. Condolences theowlsman.
  6. 198miles and 4hrs later finally at Hillsborough. Parked up and ready for the match. Safe journey everyone else travelling. Heart in the mouth, scrappy 5-0 home win on the cards
  7. I'm not able to go today with my two daughters. Would have been driving up, as ever, on a 400 mile round trip, but I am feeling pretty awful after getting a nasty bug (and no, it isn't one found in stella artois). Gutted we're not able to go, but I have1 adult and 2 child tickets for T3 on the kop. Perhaps there is someone on her who knows of someone that can't afford to go or would simply like to watch the mighty Wednesday against the minnows of Shrewsbury? Cost of the tickets was £52 in total. I have them on email to forward to someone. I am not looking for any money for them, consider it a 'pay it forward' gesture. Message me if it might be of interest. And mods, please move to ticket section if it's better there. I thought more might look at it here first
  8. Just got back (400mile round trip for me and my two daughters) and yes, a good performance. Still not 100% there but it was very promising. Nice to see smiles on faces coming out of the ground!
  9. We are so much better than this. We are definitely capable of more. Why oh why can we not show some consistency, some nous, some backbone in defence. I am afraid Reece and Iorfa don't inspire much confidence at all. Johnson has been poor and Byers absent. Come on, at least pull one back quickly.
  10. Iorfa is having a 'mare. Again.
  11. We're a real threat up front and should be ok, however it's clear we are lacking in confidence at the back. Every attack they will have I'll be hiding behind the sofa I feel. Still reckon we'll beat them, though. Have faith.
  12. And the mystery box lights turning on and off. Wonderful memories.....
  13. As a matter of interest, how big is Wycombe's pitch to Wembley? I can't see a big variation.... 115x75 yds vs Wembley at 105x68m. Or am I completely missing the correct stats?
  14. RIP Harold. Condolences.
  15. 400mile round trip for this one with my 16 and 12yo. I'll be on the South nodding off with Sij and tutting loudly if we're not 4-0 up after 20mins.
  16. Same as me - 12 months on from Covid and no sense of taste and smell. Pretty depressing tbh. Anyhow - Happy Christmas to everyone - have a lovely day!
  17. Oh God, Paterson. That was awful.
  18. So evident we are striker-less and therefore completely toothless atm. One out and out attacker and we'll be fine. Hurry up Windass and Gregory. Nothing will change until then.
  19. He's had a good game so far. Breaking up play, good tackles, simple passes.
