Owls fans at St Mary's yesterday. Brilliant support again despite the team being comprehensively outplayed for most of the match. If only we had a team that the support deserves!

I've been a Wednesday fan for 60 years and I can't think of another club that has put their fans through as much in terms of ups, downs, madness, bizarre decisions, heart stopping episodes, thrilling comebacks etc. So why should I be surprised by this latest baffling incident - it's just part of the wierd and wonderful world of being an Owl. I'll be following them with the same enthusiasm as the last 60 years but God only knows at this point what to expect!
