Millwall away - League Cup - 1976
lanzaroteowl replied to fredmciverslovechild's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Millwall also tried to take the East Bank mid to late 70s one night match. But beat a hasty retreat to the Triangle where they were boxed in and had to have a police escort to have a píss -
Millwall away - League Cup - 1976
lanzaroteowl replied to fredmciverslovechild's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
My mates and I discussed going to the cup game as 14 year olds but quite sensibly decided against it. Went to Palace not long after when we lost 4-0 plenty of Millwall showed up that night. -

Good lads, let's hope that there isn't much punishment for them -
Get the results and the club going in the right direction and those big game fans will be seeing big games week in week out.

DC hasn't been paying wages on and off for 6 years so to say not spending anything on the ground is the reason staff aren't being paid is way off.

You get all the fun of a footy day out without giving Chansiri a penny.

I'm going for a football day out with my mates, drinking beer, swapping stories and having a laugh. Then when they walk down to the ground (ST holders) I'll book a taxi back home and watch it there

That's why all the young lasses nowadays have to put on so much slap and fake everything to get a shag. -

Fans leaving at half time (0-3)
lanzaroteowl replied to TouchIsGolden's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Same here It was pointless to stay. No chants after the first 10 minutes for DC to go, no chants to give the players a lift. Just supporters sat in resigned silence to the fact we were going to get drubbed. It was miserable with only one man to blame and I couldn't even cheer myself up with a halftime pint. So decided to make something of the afternoon and went back to the Railway for a couple more. -

I'd honour our Thai roots and turn into grand versión of Walking Street. If you know, you know.

I would personally covered the Chansiri name with blue bags in essence obliterating them. Black and gold will probably highlight it. Other than that small point, fair play to them let's get going.
