    Think it was another £250,000 for a true cantilever. Mind you the £150,000 to build the North Stand was doubtless seen as an incredible expense at the time. One of the best bits of business the club has ever done in hindsight

    Ackroyd and Abbot contracters from memory. The Club used all there remaining money from the Football Ground Improvement Fund to put the roof up. The fund was levied against the betting on the Football Pools.
