Do you mean CM3 or the classic CM01/02? Persuading Nathan Redmond to sign would be a good FM audition...

The 'soulless bowl' new ground debate
Dooogs replied to @owlstalk's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
It took me an embarrassing amount of time to work out what "A field" was there. I actually assumed they were referring an an actual field initially... -
For me, Yorath was the worst of the lot - grim football, our first relegation to L1 in a generation and he completely tied Chris Turner's hands with the terrible players he brought in. (aside: I've also always disliked Gabby Yorath / Logan for trying to guilt-trip us into keeping him on)

I thought this was going to be a statement on what had happened to the Jizz Hornkamp thread...

Chrissie's mullet is only the second most horrific sight in that video, after Simon Groom's (?) short shorts...

That's got me wondering the opposite - if we could plonk one player (at their peak, not as they are now!) from our glory days into the current team, who would make the most difference? Hirst (D E) for Uggers is the obvious choice but Waddle or Leighton would also be amazing...

Actually, that would be a nice morale-raiser from the new owners (esp if they're American where the NFL, etc, are crazy about this sort of thing): the Sheffield Wednesday Hall of Fame.

If Tudgay is in there then the likes of Kieren Lee and Loovens probably should be too. I wonder what three legends per decade would look like? (arguably, Bazza in both the 2010s and 2020s if there's no Wisden-style ban on repeat appearances)...)

Don't believe the 90s gang - our best ever XI* should include the likes of Ian Hendon, Craig Armstrong and Leon Knight... *For comedy value, anyway

Most fans under the age of 110 at this point. Completely agree about a mini-museum / archive, though. -

RISHI SUNAK! CRAIG DAVID! ... ... SIMON TEMPLAR? YOU BOYS ARE IN FOR ONE HELL OF A BEATING! (1-1, Svante) -
FFS - I saw the headline and thought we'd shipped him elsewhere on loan tonight. Admittedly, we're ever so slightly short on players but I'm genuinely starting to think that a raw 17-year-old, who'll at least put a shift in, might be an upgrade on Uggers...

Nigel was a brilliant club servant - I still think Phil King was the best left-back I've seen at the club. As previously mentioned, we've had a lot fewer top-class left-backs compared to most of our other positions (and some awful ones - from Beswetherick to Peter 'scared of the ball' Gilbert)...

Parking tonight, is hardcores open?

Is anyone else imagining Jarvis as a parking attendant now? With his arms and dancing, he could cause a multi-car pile-up in seconds... -
Have you ever doubted a new signing from day 1?

You know who must love Izzy Brown on that basis? Darren Potter... -

Andy Pearce. Nothing against the lad but he was such an obvious downgrade from Pearson, Shirtliff and Anderson... Also Srnicek (RIP) - I know he was a cult hero here but I've always hated keepers who punch catchable shots.
