  1. I have a ticket in the family stand, just by the Wednesday fans if anyone wants it. Will take it down with me. £10.
  2. Just seen this on Twitter. A Yorkshire XI where you must have one player from each Yorkshire club, but the player can’t have played for any other team in Yorkshire. I went for Des at the back, but if we go a goal down he gets dragged for Di Canio. Bit of fun. Stick it on Twitter and add #YorkshireXI
  3. Room available in Blackpool for the Saturday night. Paid £130 but rooms now going for £180+, only looking for what I paid. paid for two rooms but now a couple of the lads are only going for the day so just need the one. Room is for 4 people if needed and includes breakfasts. Let me me know if you're interested.

  6. Meant Ron, rather than Peter...apologies!

Roland Nilsson putting up name tags with his name on above every changing room peg, apart from David Hirst. 6. 8. So I read a stat the other day that the last time we won 5 league games in a row was at the end of the 2006/07 season, where a defeat against Birmingham at St Andrews put an end to any ambitious playoff hopes we had. I wrongly thought, before reading that stat, that it would have been the 2012 promotion run in but after looking we only ever achieved 4 wins in a row at any point. So so if we were to beat Brentford, we'd be looking at Leeds as a potential 6th win in a row. When was the last time this happened? Without going through the results of every season I can only possibly think of Jan-April in 94, but that is a guess. Any statisticians out there know this one?
  9. Me and one of my best mates, Brighton at home in the Play-Off Semi-Final. I was furious he'd got us on the front row of the Kop. Ended up on the pitch when Lee scored and on the season tickets the year after!
  10. IMO, the game away at Forest will be tougher than the Blackburn game. Therefore I wouldn't mind some changes tomorrow with us reverting to the side that beat Birmingham, away at Forest. Tomorrow night I'd bring in Palmer, Abdi and Mcmanaman for Hunt, Bannan and Wallace. This is no reflection on their performances on Friday night, just an opportunity to freshen up the squad given we have 3 games in 7 days.
  11. Hopefully CC learned from the game against Middlesbrough last Christmas time and doesn't make unnecessary changes.
  12. Brilliant amount of money raised last night for Sheffield Children's Hospital. Was there a SWFC related elephant created? I seem to recall one but couldn't remember if it was solely for us or was a more generic Sheffield sports design?
  13. I remember driving up to Barrow In Furness to watch a Wednesday team win 9-0. The radio on my mate's car didn't work and the windscreen wipers broke going over the Pennines. Still makes me smile though looking back. Theres been a few poor performances I can remember especially losing away at Scunthorpe, away at Oldham, away at Chesterfield etc.
  14. Liam Riley. There with me at Leicester in our final Premier League game 16 years ago. There with me at Rushden & Diamonds, Stockport, Port Vale. There with me at the Millennium Stadium and for the beam back at Hillsborough. Should be in the prime of his life cheering on our beloved Owls together at Wembley tomorrow. Absolutely no embarrassment to say I'll be shedding a few tears if we manage to do it. To absent friends.
  15. Killamarsh 8am. Parking up at Canons Park and tube into Wembley Park. Breakfast in Moulin Cafe then onto Green Man.
  16. Wallace FGS Draw 2-2 200/1
  17. Just posted this in a different thread but anyways.... You might think some of it is tacky, but look at Barnsley's range of play-off merchandise http://www.barnsleyf...016/wembley2016 SWFC versions of these would've flown off the shelves this week. Our retail department really is a shambles.

  19. In terms of matches there's so many to choose from between 2000 and 2004 and 2009-2011. One that sticks in my mind though is a 3-1 defeat to Chesterfield at Saltergate in 03/04. We were absolutely terrible. It could've been 5 or 6. Only glimmer of hope was Ndumbu Nsungu, yes it was that bad. The defeat to Port Vale away somebody mentioned earlier was pretty dire as well, they did us twice that season. We couldn't handle Steve Brooker or Adrian Littlejohn..........sad times.
  20. Just seen this notification on the Hull website. I'm guessing it's the same for Owls fans as well?
