  1. United's standout players have been Currie, Woodward and Sabella. They haven't been able to match the class of Waddle,Hirst,Nilsson and DiCanio.
  2. Love the MASSIVE owl emblem on the kit. Also prefer the collar.
  3. I'm not religious but Barry as the nearest thing to a God to me. In the day and age of fickle footballers transparently kissing a club badge, Bannan is a genuine one off. Remember seeing him in the away end at Huddersfield when he was injured singing with the fans. Some may say he's mad to stay.... Our leader!
  4. Yep , the old badge back, new kit, new start, new owners and do a Birmingham over the next two years. Might actually bring us all together more as fans and players / club as we rise from the ashes with a new passion.
  5. Great post. Sums up how I feel. Chansiri is being as spiteful as he can to deliberately harm the club and fans.
  6. This would be the final straw. Bannan is the spine of the club, the only leader we have left with blue and white blood in his veins. If Bannan goes then there will be an absolute shitstorm against Chansiri.
  7. It just gets worse doesn't it? Every bloody day... I genuinely thought we could hold onto Röhl the nearer the start of the season got, however apart from Bannan, I feel this is the straw that broke the camels back. Chansiri is inhuman. A very nasty piece of work that is destroying an establishment dating back to 1867.
  8. The secrecy behind all this , lack of communication and engagement with fans is farcical. Why is no one communicating or is it the fact there is no one at the helm to make any decisions ?
  9. He's not even spoken to the local media about his plans for the season etc. Either he's not staying for whatever reason, or alternatively there is a current ban on talking to the media. Either way, it's absolutely disgraceful the way the fans are being kept in the dark.
  10. Appalling bit of business. Pace and talent is rare and teams usually pay top whack for such players. Such a shame as he should have been with us this season.
  11. Just as all poor people are cu**s? Weird logic. People who have built up businesses are usually the most hard working.
  12. Wow, that's is tremendous news. The first bit of good news out of the club in a while. If Röhl stays under new ownership this could all be turned round into positivity from a seemingly destitute position.
  13. It shows we're still relevant and massive to them. Happy with this. Better to be debated or taken the pee out of than not at all....
  14. Old badge with SWFC below it. Don't like just the 'SW' on the current club badge.
  15. He's still under contract. Why is he talking about leaving when as far as we know, there isn't a club who have made a concrete offer and if they do, they have to pay compo. Slightly arrogant to sign a contract then say you're walking away from it as the chairman can't afford the players you want...
  16. Still cannot understand why Chansiri hadn't supported our best manager in years and seems happy to let him go, almost pushing him away by his anctics? What is Chansiri hoping to achieve by all this? Why hadn't he answered questions regarding his dissing of Röhl?
  17. don't know why there's some random chanting on this? Mute sound.
  18. He put Ryan Giggs on his arse not once but twice in front of the north stand with a couple of his trademark drops of the shoulder. Someone put up the youtube clip please
  19. We were sat down the side looking over to the Highbury kop where the Wednesday fans were massed. Remember the Na Na Na Na Hey Sheffield Wednesday song being incredibly loud. Charlton left Mills back at the hotel and he had to get a taxi to the ground.... The Case free kick for Brighton - gutted. Disliked Foster and Robinson too. A missed opportunity but also a lovely memory.
  20. Exciting player. Fully deserved.
  21. His finishing was a different class last season.. always looked likely to score. Is it the same person we bought?
  22. Criminal how Chansiri has treated the most talented coaches in the game that has given so much to the club to almost force him to leave the poo show that Chansiri precides over. How can this be allowed to happen? This is a watershed moment in the club's history - A) keep hold of Röhl and give him a transfer budget and plan. B) let Röhl walk, withhold transfer budget / monies and we sleepwalk back into league one which sets the club back decades.
  23. Not seen a live game this season, however I saw Ugbo last season when he was on his scoring streak and thought he was awesome. His finishing was electric, aggressive in the box, quick turns, bullet headers, either foot. He came alive in the box and you always felt he was going to score. Unsure what's happened to him apart from the obvious confidence but there sure is a good finisher in there.
