From a mate about 3 weeks ago ”I just bumped into my mate Bruce, who is best friends with Russell Martin, now at Rangers as manager. Bruce has just been up to see him: said Martin described it as the ‘most hateful place he has ever lived.’ Has a security guard, gets daily death threats . . . from both Rangers and Celtic fans, got assaulted in the supermarket by a Rangers fan. Said he has never ever met such hateful, aggressive, violent people anywhere in the world. But he has ‘an amazing house.’

For a job of this profile that’s an absolute pittance.

Ah that’s sad. He was a rogue.

New owners with a bit of savvy could set us up as an unstoppable force next season. The relief when he’s gone could be harnessed. Get the fans back. We just have to endure this.

Not having a go here, genuinely curious as to what you expected? Personally I think the heart and fight that the lads have shown so far has set unrealistic expectations for what is going to be a miserable winter.
