  1. I agree he has to change something. We are getting well beaten most games so there is nothing to lose.
  2. Supporters deserve better today from those wearing the shirt.
  3. At least went Tottenham today!
  4. I stayed until the end - always do - but I didn't clap them off today. They were appalling.
  5. Amass got stuck in today but he doesn't get into the final third. He cuts back every time and as a LWB that isn't good. Perhaps in a better side he might have more confidence to do so, but he's still well short of a top end Championship player yet. He will be in time, but not yet.
  6. I'm not prepared to accept any Wednesday team not put a shift in - today was unacceptable. A manager who keeps making the same tactical mistakes each week worries me. He has limited options but fannying about at the back is a choice...and a bad one.
  7. I expect the players to have put a bit of effort in, which they didn't today.
  8. If Pederson picks Ugbo again he deserves the sack.
  9. He's got a disastrous mistake in him every game - today he made three.
  10. Apart from Fusire and Amass, the rest of the first 11 are experienced players probably earning between ££8k to £12k a week. Profession pride against a backdrop of the vast amount of money Wednesday fans have pumped in recently was the least we could expect in today's game, of all games. Instead we saw a spineless performance and dreadful quality. Unforgivable today.
  11. Modern day coaches getting players to pass around at the back, when clearly they aren't good enough, deserve all the criticism that comes their way. We do it game after game with calamitous results. To play a short corner in the first half when we hadn't been in their box was a coaching disaster-class (as it was against Southampton) and to keep Ugbo on at half time showed complete incompetence.
  12. I've never left a game before the final whistle.
  13. A few years ago I'd have been totally in favour of this but, sadly, I've lost trust in our police. Hopefully people do behave anyway as it's the football we want to see, not trouble.
  14. Personally I wouldn't spend the money that supporters have raised recently on new players until new owners come in. We're down anyway so I'd rather see the young players play and get some more experience, even though we're likely to get beat most weeks. Hopefully any players new owners bring in will be brought in to do a job next season to get us back up.
  15. I knew soon as he did that he'd not play for us again. He was someone I used to really look forward to seeing. A quality act. Pity that is what he's remembered for but it's totally unacceptable to push a referee.
  16. I know a few work colleagues and acquaintances (probably totalling about 15) who are Wednesdayites who were all regular attendees and/or mainly season ticket holders haven't and have stopped going mainly due to DC. Only 4 of them are going to the Blades match. The others have various reasons/excuses for not going, but I'm genuinely surprised how few are going in the circumstances. I'm not saying this as a criticism but I think most will rarely go again as they have just simply got out of the habit of going.
  17. I think Weaver really did stand out. He was a throwback to defenders of old by heading, clearing, blocking and tackling. Brown got his scores more on the fact that we were all pleasantly surprised about him and his potential, a couple of goals, and the fact that there was an alternative to Ugbo!
  18. Impressive effort but stick with the 1973 original.
  19. Three games ago he looked well short I thought, which is not a major criticism given his age, but the last three matches he's impressed defensively and linked up well with others, particularly Bannan. He needs to get to the byline more as a LWB and stop cutting in all the time as he's easy to mark in the final third - that would give defenders a problem wondering which way he'll go
  20. My view is that because we are clearly underdogs the staff try to keep us calm at the beginning of the game and opponents are more gung ho. We also haven't resolved conceding back post goals - three at the back causes this. I noticed Danny Röhl's Rangers doing the same. We also have Iorfa who nearly always makes one error in a game that leads to a real chance for the opponent or a goal. It's bizarre as otherwise he plays well!
  21. We must sell out for this game.
  22. Pederson puts everyone up front then the brainless players don't put a cross in..and when they do it's not even Sunday league standard.
