As a change of emphasis, perhaps a protest walking around the perimeter of the pitch. That may get more to take part. That said, I think more will go on next time, particularly a 3pm kick off when a few are less inhibited - hopefully they keep it peaceful like yesterday and relatively short (say 10 mins).

I couldn't and wouldn't encourage anyone to go on the pitch with the personal implications that comes with it. However, I thought they were heroes today to risk their own lives/livelihood for the rest of us. It's an existential crisis.

I must have been at a different game because all around me in the other side of the North stand there was significant applause and encouragement of those on the pitch. I thought they got the protest just about bang on.
