Has Kim Olsen returned

Best sight for me the dressing down flint was giving to ragget and the two benches having a discussion about it. The togetherness shines through

Portsmouth currently are very inconsistent Won 2 drawn 2 lost 2 hope that form continues and they will drop away

How embarrassing was that?
Stainless replied to Inspector Lestrade's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Might be fishing but it's a subject that needs to be discussed and there's a massive difference between running down the clock with possession of the ball and time wasting. One is part of the game one is cheating. Game Management is just a term banded about but what does it actually cover. I'm all for running the clock down by keeping possession and if somebody wants to shield the ball in the corner and let defenders bounce of them that's good strong hold up play. Falling to the floor and rolling about like you've been shot is cheating plain and simple. I've not seen what happened yesterday but over the years cheating has become more prevalent and needs stamping out. Some of the worst ive witnessed included managers clearing balls 40 yards down the touchline to delay throws. Refs need to be strong and forget the rubbish about spoiling a game and punish teams that cheat. If that means people being sent off so be it they will learn to manage the game in the right way -

Not going to catch Rotherham Wigan and mk so let them take the points in the "yellow" games unless against us. that's points away from pretty much everyone and we really are in control of our own destiny if we when 7 of the 11 including at least 2 of our top 10 battles
-
8m that will be buy you all of Rotherham

We need a brand new Westy, Hutch, Bannan and Luongo
Stainless replied to @owlstalk's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Now there's a new thought succession planning. Who would have thought of it. Start the process to replace somebody before you lose the current player. I thought Hunt was the new Bannan. Let's see how he comes back from his stint in Cleethorpes. The rest I'm not sure we have any one lined up for but can I put my name forward to replace luongo I fancy earning a shed load for lying on a table all day. -
Three youngsters return to SWFC

Johnson at LCB, Dunkley on the bench, WTAF?
Stainless replied to Paul..'s topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Cheers Paul Might have to take you up on that. I'd agree Patterson is a logical choice which is what seems strange. Dunkley just seems to be in and out so unless there is a fitness issue it feels like trust -
Johnson at LCB, Dunkley on the bench, WTAF?
Stainless replied to Paul..'s topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
For me it says more about a severe lack of trust in dunkley. Not been this season first time in nearly 30 years I've not had a season ticket. However all reports I've seen are that dunkley has been terrible. Either way Palmer as wide centre half i can see but Johnson seems very strange. -
Was this the day O'Connor nearly broke the tunnel scrapping with everyone at halftime

Stainless replied to @owlstalk's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Can't work this one out is it 442 with palmer and JVA at full back or is it 3 at back with palmer or reach at left wing back and the other centre mid -
Breaking- Premier league re structure
Stainless replied to Sefton owl's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
I'm in awe of the blatant cheek of parry to try and sell this as good for the EFL. Immediately there are 2 EFL clubs who will be pushed out of the league structure to enable this yet its good for all 72 efl clubs? From a long term perspective the big 6 take control and this then enables a situation where its easy to control and close shop if wanted. Why not add a veto to the voting rights for the other pl clubs and an efl representative? If the Premier league truly belive in the structure of the English game then the should interact with it. I would like to see Parry reaction to this if proposed by Westham and Villa I suspect it would have been laughed at -
Who would you play for the other half of the season when hutch is in the treatment room or suspended?
-
Was there statement from the PFA advising their members not to agree a federal or freeze without their agreement? Sure I saw that somewhere just can't remember where.
-
was the timing seen as a natural break with both being out of the team? Maybe not the best timining maybe not the right way to do it.
-
I'd have to agree with this. The issue is not that they are injured now but that they are consistently missing large chunks of every season through injuries. How many times has Westwood for example pulled up in warm ups and missed the next 3 or 4 werks over the years. Are they the players that would make the difference who knows. Is Monk the right man man for the job not sure.
