  1. Not had a season ticket for a while, other commitments, interests and costs mean it's just not viable. Always been to a few games a season along with Steelers games and now just go to Steelers and watch on TV instead. Looking forward to going to the first game as soon as he's gone and buying genuine clobber for my lad.
  2. From public records? If they made stuff up, then fair enough, but otherwise?...
  3. Yes, I suspect it's very much like the player salaries. What NEEDS to be paid to keep trundling along and what can be delayed.
  4. My personal belief, it's shear ineptitude, a lack of business acumen and not knowing when the game is up.
  5. Email just received... "It is reported that staff and players will not receive their pay on time again. If confirmed, this would be the fifth month out of the last seven, since March, that wages have been delayed. This long predates the boycott policy and shows an ongoing failure at the very top of the club. Every late wage leaves families worrying about bills, food, and security. Loyal employees who give their all to Sheffield Wednesday are put in an unacceptable position. No football club should ever operate like this. The picture is even broader. The club is likely facing a seventh consecutive transfer embargo, restrictions on fees, and individual charges against Dejphon Chansiri. This is not bad luck or an isolated error, but a pattern of mismanagement that drags Sheffield Wednesday deeper into crisis. The truth is simple. If Dejphon Chansiri cannot pay wages in full and on time, he must step aside and allow someone capable to take responsibility for our club. Nothing else will fix the damage being done to our people, our reputation, and our future. While the Trust cannot deliver the ownership change that is needed, we will not stand by. We have doubled the support available through our hardship fund so that staff who need immediate help can apply for assistance. Find out more here: SWFC Staff Hardship Fund Our solidarity and support remain with all those affected."
  6. All they can do, which they haven't already, is kick us out of the league.
  7. I installed this the other day too, love it!
  8. I asked ChatGPT (cos that's all we do now) and it suggested the following... "If the club wants a single best prospect to investigate immediately, Meadowhall / River Don masterplan area is the most promising because it already contains a 62-acre tract under active masterplanning — big enough for a modern 30–45k stadium and with strong transport links — but it will require negotiation with private owners and integration into their masterplan." Specifically Plot TLH already designated for leisure focus. Obviously a flood risk, but we can handle that, right?
  9. It's one closer to the end of DC's reign
  10. I was wondering if the EFL had released this now for that exact reason - another little lever to force a sale?
  11. First thoughts after a very quick glance is similar. If anything suggests nothing nefarious, just a guy who perhaps had spare cash 10 years ago and has since ran out of liquidity, due perhaps, to not fully understanding how much running a football club would cost and a downturn in fortunes from the business side of things. It certainly appears he can't afford it any more. Perhaps Kieran Maguire will do an analysis
  12. Quick, someone push it through chatgpt and ask for a summary
  13. I'd assume a document/page on the website, shared via emails to members and social media posts. Or just keep an eye on here, it'll soon be on after release I'm sure.
  14. If the stadium is sold to cover debts, what happens to the rent SWFC currently pay? Does the contract automatically roll over to the new owners or is everything up for discussion?
  15. I think everyone just knows the crack with the protests, nothing to discuss - stay away or spend nowt, black and gold.... Takeover is speculation so people can go wild with theories.
  16. Only one thing for it boys...
  17. Not sure why (because his record was great) but he didn't come across like a footballer, no arrogance, aggression etc just a lovely bloke who happened to be good at football. I had the same, feeling sorry for him somehow. I'll bet he looked after his money though and will have a lovely retirement - endless cups of tea and biscuits.
  18. Not for me, clash of styles. That beautiful owl doesn't need containing in a shield, set it free!
  19. £500m loan @ 2.5% I'm told
  20. Speaking of badges, did anyone receive their Supporters Trust badge? Not an issue at all, rather the money was spent unseating DC, just wondered
