Do we miss Richard Wood? I don't think we do but is it really more to do with how Irvine has got the defence playing now as a disciplined unit or could he have slotted into the current line up? The decision to let him go does not look like it has affected us negatively in any way. Credit must go to Irvine, Beevers, and Purse for me to be thinking in this way.
