The EFL are actually trying to put pressure on in one of the limited ways they can-by saying ‘until you prove you can and will fund the wages of this club, you can’t add to the squad’. It’s rubbish and it’s going to lead to a record low points score, but it’s the reality of him trying to cling on and play kick the can. And every time anyone spends a pound and gives it to him, it allows him to keep it on life support
