  1. Genuine question though-what difference will a points deduction make? Don’t think he’ll care about that either. Unless they can do something about his ownership in a concrete way (and they can’t) it’s all just a bit pointless. Think it’s going to have to be the Regulator myself
  2. Get into it deeper, it’ll help you understand it properly
  3. With the greatest of respect, as someone who has worked with kids for 20 years, that’s lazy rubbish. Oh and it’s ‘worst educated’ by the way….
  4. Took the Mrs and lad on Sunday for dinner at Kapital and it was brilliant. Really good food and the beer is spot on. Think they’ve also managed to tap into wherever Fagans and Dog & Partridge get their Guinness from as well-it’s the real deal
  5. It will never, ever be theirs no matter how much failure payment cash they chuck about. It’s all about the bigger picture. Not signing a load of players means we are down, but we pretty much were even if we’d got Messi today. It’s a painful thing but for the greater good when the tuna man goes away forever
  6. Steve Bruce would have got us promoted
  7. Oh well, if the greatest mind of our generation thinks so then case closed
  8. Because whataboutery is something that a noisy minority are clinging on to, for some weird reason. ‘So you didn’t go last night, but I bet you have eaten tuna at some point in your life haven’t you?’ ‘So you say you’re boycotting, but I notice you’re still happy your team won, you massive hypocrite’ etc etc etc
  9. No, and you’re using silly whataboutery to deflect from a very simple thing: Don’t spend money at the club until he’s gone. It’s not that hard, and all the ‘but what about those over there’ arguments in the world are just making you look a bit daft.
  10. Got it in one. Tried it myself and got filtered
  11. There’s a King Canute joke here but I’ll hold off
  12. DoN’T YoU DArE TeLl PeOPlE WhAt To dO. Don’t you know these free spirit warriors need to be free to think freely? They’re the true heroes here. Thinking all freely and not being told what to do by the man. It’s not like there’s any other way they can spend time with their kids. Won’t somebody please think of the children?
  13. Don’t forget the spiteful bit and the crippling insecurity and need to ‘win’ that comes from being the black sheep of a wealthy family. He’s the Kendall Roy of Tuna.
  14. It absolutely does not. It’s two completely separate things that some people are conflating either because they don’t get it, or for a more sinister purpose. ‘But of course if we put less money in, he can’t sign people, that’s just simple maths’ It’s not. He is done, either way. If we suddenly bought every shirt and sold out every game, he would do exactly the same, which is put in absolutely nothing. The EFL are actually trying to put pressure on in one of the limited ways they can-by saying ‘until you prove you can and will fund the wages of this club, you can’t add to the squad’. It’s rubbish and it’s going to lead to a record low points score, but it’s the reality of him trying to cling on and play kick the can. And every time anyone spends a pound and gives it to him, it allows him to keep it on life support
  15. Seen this knocking about a bit today. We can’t bring any players in. The EFL won’t allow us to until he shows he can pay their wages all year. He can’t do that. So unless it’s a takeover, this is the squad and will remain the squad.
