  1. I would trust him to hold up traffic let alone the ball. Not that we didn't know this already.
  2. Yeah but in game you can't hope for this. He knows what's going to happen. Di just get a block in or make it difficult . Ref is pretty poor generally but you adapt. He does it every week.
  3. Can someone please tell Ingelsson that when you apply pressure on an experienced defender in the final third especially in the corner to stop bloody fouling or at least giving them an opportunity to go down. Again and again he does this after good work and then moans about it. It's like he doesn't have the mental capacity to develop and learn. Doing my nut in.
  4. Refs out of his depth that's pretty evident already
  5. I'll remind you that with no docked points we would be 2 points behind them, scored more and only conceded 2 less. That's hie bad they are right now. If they win comfortably it could start their season. Anything else I can imagine they must be calling themselves that team with nothing to play for pride and eachother may beat a team that at times look like they have barely met. I wouldn't be too excited either.
  6. Saw him play today. Wasn't at his best in a very "away" perfomace by Wrexham but still running for everything and always a threat. Possibly the worst thing beyond not paying people that Chansiri didn was forcing us into offloading players like him. 15 plus goal contributions a season is massively underestimated until you don't have it anymore.
  7. Is D taxis still running?
  8. General sense over there seems to be that they are slowly putting performances in fits and starts. See them finishing 12th or so if they get few decent in over January. Makes the Derby a bit more spicy though. Could be fun if somewhat perverse singing 'your going down with the Wednesday'
  9. They would have to shift some talent though. 4th highest wage bill in the championship.
  10. Are you saying that you are 4/1 odds on giving Swift the worst 5 minutes of her life?
  11. Uh oh another loan to fall in love with
  12. Just to let everyone know that a group of 4 of us have already done this and are currently in talks with some charities and schools etc. We have 10 tickets pending allocation but will reach out to others tomorrow depending on uptake. I would hesitate on buying more seats, rather than just investing in the club another way. If there is any more demand I could check back in here and see if people are still willing to donate.
  13. It's only 10 years ago The man with the suit and the face Golden Elephants around the place They were in love with me, love with me But now it's all gone down the drain Can't we please all start over agaaaain Ugandan Gold (Gold!) No NDAs you've been told A hundred mill maybe was bold My problems are structural But fools might believe in , Ugandan Gold (Gold) Called the mayor to try and return This time maybe I've learnt Points are deductable, guess I'll be leaving!
  14. To the tune of Whitney Houston If you, had let Wilder stay I am sure, it wouldnt be this way Coh sports , surely have to go After letting Selles and Ai run the show...... Drum hit Ai iiiiiiiieiiiiiiiiiiieiiiii will always f#ck yoouuuu, will always f#ck yooooou Can imagine Tango belting this out and Jon McClure hitting the high notes Not sure the band will nail that infamous snare hit though , they generally play everything at half speed
  15. The Ugbo situation got me thinking about recent strikers. Then came across Jaoa's journey since leaving us and Reading. China, Qatar, Iran, Turkey and now sunning it up of the coast of Africa with his first senior club Nacional on Madeira, having switched international allegiance to Angola, scoring 7 in 45 across all formats in 3 years. Hell of a ride. A 1 IN 4 striker for us but did score some crackers
  16. I sold mine for the owlstalk fundraiser @bigchrissy_wild_one bought it off me on Vinted
  17. From the WTID pod I understood this 8 million secured debt on S3 Holdings needs to be paid Unsecured creditors HMRC 1.75 million Other bills and invoices approx 3 million Let's say 13 million Efl sanctions state you must pay 25 on the pound to avoid the -15. In my view an owner should he offering 75 p especially to local business and clubs we owe money too. Probably actually everything. Then chansiris 60m. He probably needs 25 % as well at least. 15 million In theory someone needs to pay 24 million to avoid further sanctions completely. In reality they should really pay 32 million. When you buy a business its generally worth about 2.5 x revenue plus some assets. In our case the ground. Wednesday turnover about 13 million a year. So by coincidence it's probably worth 32.5 million. Add the stadium which is probably a liability more than anything this is why people were saying 35 to 39 million as a valuation. Anyone who is not willing to pay the 32 million for the club and would rather take a -15 deficit into league one isn't a serious player. The worry is that they might be all we have. But you would be shooting your own foot and potentially depreciating the asset further by getting relegated again. Which is why Chansiri is so stupid. If he had sold for 50 million he would avoided the same and exile. Probably still walked away with the money and been able to spin some story about doing the right thing for the club. Avoiding admin and points deduction. If he had done that 18 months ago people wouldn't think half of what they do. but we know that his view of what ownership is was flawed. he believes he is due 60 million back. Which is why he was asking for 80 100 million. To write off the debt to himself in full. He's an idiot.
  18. Are you donating your dildo or someone else expected too?
  19. I love your enthusiam and I'm sure we'll get right behind the boys. Which is why I mentioned the fa cup as well. But come on. 17 points from safety. We won 15 total last year with Rhol and a squad that has been asset stripped. Half a season without a decent keeper. I think you might be in the denial stage of grief. Just let it happen. I is a bit of a poo league this year but iI cant imagine less than 46 keeps you up. Southampton actually more points than Hull did in the same position in Rnd 13 than last year. So we would need 1.4 points a game minimum . The same form as 10th last year. Not happening. Many of us have made our peace with that.
  20. What you want is a person, small consortium or family who see the club as a project/ investment whomnnkw they can't extract any wealth until some proper success.m and sustained time in the EPL backed with being humble enough to know that they know naff all about football so its about hiring the right people. Pay the good money for a COO, and CFO , coaching/ manager as well scouts and academy. Run the business not the team and give talented people the grace to make decisions. Makes me wonder if Wrexham are going to find this out. It's all very cute having Rob and mac Skype calling about stuff for a documentary but my suspicion is if they don't have the right people in they'll struggle going up again.
  21. Yeah yeah we are down. But what would warm your soul on the pitch during this long bizarre season. I'd love to break the hoodoo and win at home against Blades. Given their form anythings possible. Be great to get 24 points (29 from here) and not have the worst finish in championship history. Not getting my hopes up. Just over a point a game. Not sure where we are getting 6 or 7 wins from. But you never know. I truly don't believe Ugbo is the victim of voodoo or something. Can he just get a couple and restore some confidence, possibly do a job in league one. I don't understand the drop off at 27. A couple of fa cup results and/or a big draw in the Fa Cup with 5 to 7k going away to Man utd or Spurs or Evertons new stadium maybe. Decent gate reciept and a bit of party. Anything else?
  22. I'm not therapist but that sounds like projection to me.
  23. I think both those fixtures are a bit of a freak. There's still like 6.5k for Norwich left aswell so we aren't talking mega numbers right now. But yes with decent pricing we should get some good gates. Holding peoples attention for the rest of tbe season when we are all but down but down already will be a challenge. for me it's about momentum into next year and convincing some players to stay plus if we have new owners and embargoes are dropped, trying to be up there and pushing for promotion straight back up. Backed by decent crowds.
