  1. if you think away fans funding chansiri gives the battle weary supporters who are sticking to not giving him penny a shot in the arm then you're right we will have to agree to disagree..
  2. I wouldn't imagine that rangers fans would be enamored with appointing another championship manager .
  3. Ron played up front in Derek Wilkinson's testimonial and scored 4 goals ......whitham ,Ritchie and Eustace scored the goals in Ron's match .
  4. It helps fund chansiri there can be no argument that it doesn't ......I and many others have unwavering support for Wednesday but don't feel the need to financially support the owner to prove it .....as for keeping the protest going that's laughable when we are trying to get shot of him by defunding him .
  5. Go on then how much is it exactly?......and why should we help him fund it when we are trying to starve him out ?.......
  6. Your trying to justify giving him money by guessing what he'll spend it on ....wouldn't it be better just to give him nothing as that's the best way to starve someone .
  7. So you'll continue to give him money coz it's not much ergo it must be fine then for the bloke who buys a pint at Hillsborough to give him his ......
  8. Indeed it is and we should all be in it together but it's still selective with those that go to away games drip feeding him ......some bloke gets photographed with pint in hand wearing his protest scarf and gets ridiculed another holds one aloft at Portsmouth and gets praised for his great support........where's the unity in that ?
  9. Imo Cheat was far and away the best back in the day some of the others just seemed a bit too professionally done .
  10. What's the injury ?
  11. Didn't realise we had around 100 non footballing staff ......good luck to em and hope they get what there owed.
  12. Unlike these days where if your one of the few English keepers in the prem you'll more than likely pick up a few caps there was a lot of competition when Ron was in his prime and to be the most capped keeper in English history at the time tells you good he was .....took one of the world greats to knock him off the number 1 spot .
  13. Outclassed by a far better team ..,can't fault the effort they put in is about the best I can say ......horvath got my vote
  14. Nice to see him remembered but seems a bit of a mushy video and not a clue about how he was betrayed .....
  15. Didn't the many thousands that stayed away in the 70s make sacrifices with there frustration with the board in how they ran the club ....staying away in great numbers does force change there's no doubt about that it worked then and it will work now if enough do it but you'll always get some who'll go no matter what and revel in the fact that they didn't stop which was what my post was alluding to.....
