  1. The Wednesday
  2. Swinton Athletic followed by Dog Daisy Mexborough it is then
  3. https://thebuzzisback.boards.net/thread/1910/sean-fusire-thread?page=2 Looks like he did well, Carlisle fans seem impressed.
  4. Oooooh Callum Patterson he's got a magic tash and when he sees a big fat trout he says I'm catching that!
  5. it's our time again. Lets have it next season!
  6. Wonder what Katrien Meire is up to nowadays. She'd be perfect.
  7. Enter the flying potatoe? Tongue out of cheek he was a quality keeper during the 90s and may have something to offer. I'm not sure if he's still in football now and I'm sure I'll be slatted regarding fitness etc.
  8. The flying potatoe, Kevin Pressman!
  9. Remember him putting a lovely ball through for Andy Booth to run onto and score at Elland Road. That put us top of the Premier league!
  10. Elland Road August 1996. Singing "Are you watching Manchester?" as we went top of the Premier league whilst beating Leeds. Then Andy Booth scored in the 90th minute to make it 2 - 0. Good times.
  11. A team of grafters that work their b******* off every game. On a side note the wage gap and lifestyle difference between the players on the pitch and the fans in the stand for me is far too big and makes it difficult to relate to them and thus I personally have become more detached from football in general. I know it's not like this for everyone. Just the way I feel sadly.
  12. I've said it before on another thread. Park at the dog track. The £5 is worth the piece of mind. You can fully concentrate on the match then instead of wondering if some chav is putting your car window through.
  13. How long until a Shefki Kuqi Wednesday legend thread goes up? Only time will tell.
  14. Thought Graham Lee was pretty solid for us but agree about Purse and Branston
  15. Park at the dog track and walk upto the ground. It's not that far and the £5 charge is not much for peace of mind.
  16. Just to add I think we managed to stay up by the skin of our teeth this particular season. A Jon Newsome equaliser at Upton Park on the final day guaranteeing safety.
  17. Opening day of the 95/96 season. Boiling hot summer. The debut of our controversial new home kit. And as someone pointed out Pleats first league match in charge.
  18. You're correct Wednesday fans were singing about him. It was at a pre season friendly in July or early August 96 at millmoor. That's probably how you've got mixed up with the intertoto which was a year earlier and also at millmoor. I can only remember the last part of the song which went "he's got no hair but we don't care Attilio!" We won the game. I think Ian Nolan scored for us.
  19. The season after we did really well finishing in the top 10. We would have maybe made Europe if we still had him that season as we only narrowly missed out.
  20. It'd be good if the kits lasted two seasons like they use to. I think they'd sell a lot more. Full price season one with a bit of discount for the start of season two. £50 + is a lot of money for something that's only going to last less than a year.

  22. This thread has turned into a fee for all
