This might be a contentious thing to say but surely at some point there has to be a decision made by the manager to speak openly about being unable to continue with the squad we have without putting at risk the playing futures of younger squad members. How DR managed the squads fitness was exemplary. HP doesn't have the squad to follow his example. Wr all know who is to blame but surely HP can flag up the difficulties to the PFA and the EFL.

There are a group of people quite willing to help him financially. The report about Thai involvement with a number of clubs was an eye opener, as was the Weiss/Watford finance model of 'forward financing' that's questionable. This is and always has been about money, power and personal aggrandisement. The pitch invasion and the spectacle of him being regarded as a pariah nationally and internationally is the only real way of forcing his hand. Even then he'll say he left the club in a better situation.

Good keeper. Not very good but good. Given how far up sheitecreek we are he's better than a lot of keepers we've had over the last 10 years. I actually prefer his faults with experience than a keeper who is 'excellent' but who is maybe too younger or inexperienced to organise the defenders around him and the opposition players..
