The fanbase is in a tough spot right now, almost delusional from all the knocks we’ve taken under Chansiri. It feels like we’re conditioned to expect nothing but hurt and disappointment. That said, I’m sticking to what I’ve heard about the Tilman bid. From what I know, Tilman’s other takeovers have always been hush-hush until the deal is sealed. I haven’t seen anything solid to make me doubt this is any different. There’s definitely some cloak-and-dagger stuff going on behind the scenes, with plenty of red herrings to throw us off. For now, let’s just strap in and enjoy the wild ride that is Sheffield Wednesday!
