I prefer playing teams who are either chasing promotion or battling relegation than teams who have nothing to play for since the former tend to play more open.
Bannan in his prime was a peripheral figure beside the likes of Forestieri, Hooper, Pudil etc.. Now in his twilight years we expect him to be Messi and everything revolves around him!
Never thought I would ever say this but voted for Palmer, a player who I often criticized. But yesterday he was immense...slotted in midfield, defended heroically, assist for James' goal and last minute equaliser.
I'll give Moore another year. In his 1st year we finished 4th. In his 2nd year we finished 3rd and increased the points total. The objective for his 3rd year will be promotion.
What we certainly need is a tactical person beside him such as Stuart Gray and good recruitment of players.
I think that the Italian Serie B are more fair since if the 3rd placed team has 10+ points more than the 4th, it is automatically promoted and there will be no play offs.
Our right side is our weak link. Iorfa is an accident-in-waiting while Palmer as RWB offers nothing.. not good in crossing and never beats his man.
Their reserves are worse.
Patterson was a big miss as much as Byers and Windass as he would have done a good job as RWB.
