Been watching this lad and I'm really not sure what he offers. He seems to have pace to burn, lots of tricks and flicks, but nothing seems to work. There's a time for tricks and flicks, and it's not when you're 2-0 down, like we seem to be regularly. He couldn't trap a bag of cement and his touch is awful, the ball pings off his shins, knees etc and the play turns over. He seemed to come with the 'promising youngster' tag but all he's promising at the minute is to be as poo as a lot of the other young loanees we've had. Watched the whole match, we should have been out of sight by half time. NML's miss is horrific, unbelievable at any level never mind professional football. Lots of other half chances and scrambles that z decent striker would have put away. Whether we go up or stay in this division, a quality striker has to be no.1 on the shopping list.

I think this season is going to be one of consolidation unfortunately, Jos and DC will be trimming the squad as much as possible without being in dander of relegation, and making do until we can offload many of the players who are undesirable to other teams and out of contract next summer. That's when the squad restructure will start properly.
