Saved us from a winding up order. Just a shame his follow on act sucked so bad Any further commentary is for the history books for now. We can dissect the relativity of it at a more appropriate time if that is what people want to do. Personally I will tip my cup of tea and say cheers out of respect

To everyone that went on the pitch

Sky pipe in sound too, remember when they piped boos in during a minutes silence. Thank you to everyone who risked a criminal record over this. Wawaw. -
Message from Coventry City fans
leftpeg replied to @owlstalk's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Let's not tar people with the same brush plenty of brummie applauded then 10 min protest too And large sections of our fans were not exactly saints towards Derby and L**ds when they had problems. Classy gesture from Cov, which some could/would argue we didn't deserve after the incident with Kasey. Buy again not tarring everyone with the same brush is shown as the way to go. -
For anyone who thinks protests don't work

Haha Let's hope it doesn't actually take they long, I think I saw the one in the right heading into the bingo last week. -

It has to be 10 and they have to work at Dunnes (think BHS) -
True story and while it didn't single handedly bring down the regime it did have a remarkable impact on the cascade of events needed to bring about global change the likes of which we haven't seen since. And it all started with 10 ladies and some grapefruit https://www.facebook.com/share/r/1JxLfLd5ZY/

Players told they won't be paid on time AGAIN
leftpeg replied to @owlstalk's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Dude you took their comments way out of context, that is not fair. The point being made is that materially it doesn't affect us, and it doesn't. Yes we can have empathy, and that was demonstrated in the original post you quoted. But what material affect does it have on anyone outside the staff and their famili3s ? None, it's good to care, donate something if you can, great, but come on. -
Has anyone mentioned it in reddit? /r/championship is particularly sympathetic towards us and hateful of chancer
-
I would support the players going on strike I understand if they don't. But it is a tough place for them as humans to be in, and 50 times worse for non playing staff

You do you Let them do them The boycotts are working we don't need to fall for the divisive rhetoric. Leave that to politicians using it as a way to keep us all under control. WAWAW -
I think we are back to reality against two strong sides. But you never know!
-
The purpose is two fold 1 keep awareness of our situation high 2 make it difficult for chancer. Point 1 relies on the news and media, which will always go for the most sensationalist new event over repeating old news. Unless something drastic happens to escalate things either by more chansiri revelations or an escalation of protests we are more a footnote for the nationals when they report on the matches
-
That and stop posting people's pictures like some social media witch hunt. Yes it's frustrating, and yes I personally will never cross a picket line. But let's focus our hate on Chancer and everything else on trying to bring us together to get rid of him. And as much as it may not seem this way, there's bigger problems in the world. He will be gone and once he is, we have to heal from his time and it will be a lot easier to do that if we can atleast respect each other. So educate where you can, but if they won't listen, don't go down the hate rabbit hole.

Was great for us once we got him fit again, glad he is doing well for a decent club, with good owners and a good fanbase. Their support of us when we played them means I wont have anything but good will for them, and Josh was a quality player over multiple years for us, gutted when he left.

Can the Blades actually beat Xisco's record???
leftpeg replied to Rolls Royce Nilsson's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
It wont happen, unfortunately for all his failings the Ham Sandwich is a good manager at this level and he understands that club well. But given how all the grunters I know are complaining how light they look in attack, who knows. -
To be discussing incidents on the pitch, and the actual match / players for a change. Don't get me wrong, the fight goes on, but I have to admit, it is positively pleasant to just be chatting about football again.

By they I meant Portsmouth fans/players. To be clear, I have no issue with players playing to the whistle, but if that had gone the other way and one of our lads had gone down injured, we would probably complain. Unfortunately too often players go down to try and waste time / break up play, clearly that wasn't what happened here, but as a result of that, more and more people will play on when some one goes down, and that is ok. It's a shame for the lad that got injured hope he recovers well and fast, but the more players just stick to playing to the whistle the less rewarding players faking injury will be.
-
If it had happened to us we would be salty as hell, they have every right to complain, George had every right to play on. One things for sure, we wont be giving them a replay.
-
Comes across as a very humble and grounded lad, good luck to him!
-
How the flying fizz did we get so lucky with the last manager and this one. We might not get many wins this year, but you can tell he is invested, he is one of us. I would love to see what he could do with us under better circumstances.
-
Cads still has a little way to go to establish him self as a proven championship level player, all round better for his Lincoln loan but still needs some edges smoothing. But if he was already a 15-20 a season champo level striker he'd have been sold by now. I still think he will make it at this level but he is not yet the finished article. It's OK to discuss normal football stuff btw. Yes we know what the main problem is but not every conversation has to be people trying to out do each other on the hate chansiri'o'meter

Why did we field kids last night
leftpeg replied to Rotherham Owl's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
He cant afford to terminate him because that would involve continuing to pay some or all of his contract. Pederson is blameless in this for me, the situation we are in is of Chancers making and getting rid of him is our only way out. If we get new owners a competitive budget and other issues sorted, then we can judge the managers capability, but not until.
