  1. Some people need a bit longer to see the reality of the situation unfortunately. Obviously the sooner they see it for real the better. However, we cannot lose heart just because the stadium wasn't empty for the first home game. It never was going to be and never will be. Too many people are seemingly giving up because DC hasn't caved in after a week of the season. It's going to take the whole season - and it needs everyone to stay focused and stay positive AND to not turn on those that do not see what we see. Some may never see it, they may not want to see it - it might be too much for them. In reality we probably only need 50-60% of people to stop spending in the ground that usually do (probably worth a minimum of £1.75-2million a season) and we need a drop off of POTD tickets of say 5,000 (probably worth circa £4million a season).
  2. I think a combination of factors will have him corned by the end of the season. Hopefully sooner. Multiple winding up petitions - mainly from HMRC, a huge drop in matchday revenue, a massive drop in ST renewals, ongoing pressure from the media, the growing presence of the regulator and the EFL. Aside from the ST renewals and the protesting, the other massive part we can all play in this is to defund DC. I calculated yesterday, very quickly, that on the basis of yesterday's drop in attendance DC could be looking at a drop of circa £6.1million. I've seen estimates that are higher. But we can affect this. We can push DC to the end of this a lot quicker. As I've said before, we won't see and I doubt we will hear, directly, from DC again. IT IS GOING TO GET A LOT WORSE. Cannot stress this enough. Anyone thinking DC rolls over after a couple of protests needs to bring themselves to the reality of the situation. DC isn't selling, never was going to. If he was going to sell he would have done so a long time ago. For whatever reason, he has decided he is better off trying to ride this out. Why he thinks this is another debate altogether and one that has been done to death on here. He won't ride it out. That's nailed on. It's just a question of what will be left when he (and possibly we) loses the club.
  3. War of Attrition. It was always going to be a war of attrition. A couple of games in and people are starting to wobble. It’s going to take months, it always was going to. DC isn’t selling the club. End of. It’s time that everyone realised this. This is a battle to the end. Probably to the end of the season. We have to stay focused and stay strong.
  4. As was confirmed earlier - possibly in another thread - all ST would have been counted in the attendance whether the holders attended or not. So any drop in attendance would be attributed to a reduced number of POTD tickets.
  5. It looks exactly like the back of the North Stand. The angle the photo was taken is confusing, but it looks just like it.
  6. The drop in revenue today will be significant. On the basis that there was circa 8,000 less people today, let’s say that averages out at 5,000 per game if current levels are maintained. 5,000 people paying an average of £35 a ticket would give £175,000 in lost revenue. Then say that now most people (75%) don’t spend anything - that’s circa 18,750 people not spending. Based on an average spend of £5 per person that’s £93,750 in lost revenue. In total £268,750 of lost revenue per game. Over a 23 game season that’s a potential drop of £6.1million. Maybe a bit over egged there, but this just shows how significant defunding DC is. And it’s fair to say that crowds will drop as the season progresses so that number will likely increase. We just need to keep it going and stay focused.
  7. I did wonder whether that would be the case. I guess we won't know how many walk ups, POTD tickets were sold.
  8. I bet they include ST holders whether they’ve attended or not.
  9. The game cannot be anywhere near as bad as that movie!
  10. Unbelievably me and my boys started watching that movie last night. Within a minute we were laughing hysterically. And yet despite how hopelessly sh*t it was we stayed the course and watched to the cringeworthy end.
  11. I don’t know about that. But we’ve all posted something that we instantly regret. Best thing is to own it and move on IMO and not double down and make yourself look ridiculous.
  12. I meant in general. You made a post that has been rightly ridiculed and yet you keep doubling down. Why?
  13. What are you trying to achieve here?
  14. Virtually everything on the extract from the Eastwood report was overdue. From memory there were some remedial works that were required to be completed by the end of this year. The rest should have been done well before now.
  15. That’s not what the report from Eastwood’s recommended. The scope of required works was significant.
