  1. No amount of stewards can stop idiots throwing stuff, being racist or mocking the tragic death of another fan. All those making these and other excuses are part of the problem. I bet no fan sat next to one of these idiots throwing stuff informed a steward or member of the police, instead they probably encouraged them or just kept quite. There is only one person to blame, the idiot, but there are a lot of bystanders who at best did nothing and they are probably now on here deflecting the blame from their friends or from themselves by blaming others. This club is a mess and the fans are fast becoming just as big a part of the mess as the owner.
  2. Or maybe our fans are just worse than most other teams fans? The events of this season are pointing that way.
  3. Rubbish. No level of stewardship can stop idiotic behaviour like this. The blame here lays firmly on the fans involved and saying anything else is giving the perpetrators a free pass / excuse. Life bans for all involved. And if it continues I would give bans to supporters seen to be egging them on and family members.
  4. Really depends on who the new chairman is.
  5. Love their stadium. I’d buy MK Dons before us, history counts for very little especially to a buyer, it’s all about the future possibilities. We are stuck in the past.
  6. We would be at the bottom of a longish list of clubs to possibly be taken over.
  7. Not that we can afford it or have a team worthy of a new stadium… But we do risk being left in the past. It would be far two expensive to re-develop and potentially pointless as we will still be left with problems like, potential flooding, poor sunlight on the pitch, limited parking. And what would we be left with, semi-new ground where our great old ground once stood. The club have moved before and will again one day.
  8. All set up and ready to go.. A week before Christmas but you can bet a small number of idiots turn up feeling unwell. They can’t miss the footy even if it means the people around them potentially being ill / needing to isolate at Christmas.
  9. All done, after TV deductions just £5 extra needed to watch the team from the North Stand. If we thought last season was financially bad, even after the removal of most high earners the lack of ticket income this year will hit us hard.
  10. Sadly there would be very little chance of us coming back. There’s a lot of bad thing a coming in the world financially and lots of and football clubs are going to struggle. I don’t see any international business man coming to rescue the club. Maybe someone local but most will have seen the potential costs (financial / personal / and business wise) a and think probably not. We would have to give up Hillsborough, probably not a bad thing as it’s generally a weight round our necks but hard for some fans me included.
  11. I meant more along the lines of could he have lost more. Putting in sponsorship money to reduce the losses. And I wasn’t sure if the loses shown where ffp losses or club losses? - ffp not including money spent on ground / training facilities etc.
  12. Would that include money spent on the ground/training ground not included in ffp losses? Also would it include, sponsorship money (taxis / north stand / ..) paid to ‘minimise’ our loses?
  13. Protest vote for me, as none of them deserve it, the club should be embarrassed to be holding it.
  14. If you vote for Bannan, you are voting for mediocrity. Maybe one good game all season. Just because he looks the most comfortable on the ball (not hard with the rest of them) doesn’t mean he should win. Negative and poor all season. Remember he has been our captain for this horror show.
