  1. I think he'll struggle in the Prem.
  2. Has block T been sold? It's usually covered over.
  3. Tickets must be bought from the ticket office, but that can be done on the day. Right up to kick-off I believe.
  4. I don't know whether there'll be more eyes directed at the pitch or the directors' box today.
  5. Well I'm in. First match for a couple of years and can't wait.
  6. Take to Hillsborough. Can sell it to her as a drink and a meal.
  7. Could be completely wrong, but I would imagine nothing. Sheffield 3 bought the ground from SWFC Ltd, therefore unless they paid all the money up front, Sheffield 3 still owe SWFC Ltd.
  8. Surely there were only a handful of the 10 yr tickets sold anyway. Would not be a big deal to simply honour these.
  9. Yes, admin controls the money. But the job of the administrator is to try and pay back as much money as possible to the creditors. DC is the main creditor of SWFC.
  10. They still would not appoint an administrator. A liquidator would be appointed and it would be the courts that appoint them, not HMRC.
  11. The fact they have no intention of appointing administrators. They are going to wind us up.
  12. No-one has yet shown any inclination to do that.
  13. When would the but in bold happen? What would trigger this?
  14. Any money raised by the administrators would be returned to creditors. The main one being Chansiri. Spending should only begin when the administration process has finished and a new owner is in place.
  15. The only former owners that have been consistently linked to us recently are Textor and Ashley
  16. HMRC will get their money via liquidation, that's exactly why they do it. They will sell players, kit, gym equipment, trophies etc. until they have raised enough to get their money. Rest will be sold to pay other creditors. Administration would be a far better outcome for us than liquidation/winding up, but that requires Chansiri to take that route.
  17. I believe the police record the actual figures, so they may be available through freedom of information act. The link below shows an example for Aston Villa in 2022. https://foi.west-midlands.police.uk/football-attendance-figures-747a-22/ There was once an article in a paper (can't remember which) explaining Man Utd's actual attendances are about 10,000 lower than stated, and for some games can be overstated by about 25,000 or so. Anyway, it may be possible to get our actual attendances if anyone is interested enough.
  18. 1970-84 for me. Get it back and never change it.
  19. Hi Ho Sheffield Wednesday is sh*t and the Pigs' chip butty song is far better and I wish it was ours.
  20. If he was waving a machete at me I'd shake his hand, bow, and wish him well. And call him Sir.
  21. If he did still somehow manage to hold on until August, then people would have to see the threat through and not renew at all, accepting that they are not going to go and watch Wednesday. Otherwise, all they'll have done is give him more for the same thing they could have given him less for a few months earlier. I sincerely hope I'm wrong, but I still think there will be around 10k that renew, regardless of whether Chansiri is here or not. It's simply what they do. They watch Wednesday. They don't get involved in the politics of it, either because they are in denial, unaware, or simply don't care. They just want to go to the match regardless.
  22. I think you may have answered your own question there.
