  1. 1970-84 for me. Get it back and never change it.
  2. Hi Ho Sheffield Wednesday is sh*t and the Pigs' chip butty song is far better and I wish it was ours.
  3. If he was waving a machete at me I'd shake his hand, bow, and wish him well. And call him Sir.
  4. If he did still somehow manage to hold on until August, then people would have to see the threat through and not renew at all, accepting that they are not going to go and watch Wednesday. Otherwise, all they'll have done is give him more for the same thing they could have given him less for a few months earlier. I sincerely hope I'm wrong, but I still think there will be around 10k that renew, regardless of whether Chansiri is here or not. It's simply what they do. They watch Wednesday. They don't get involved in the politics of it, either because they are in denial, unaware, or simply don't care. They just want to go to the match regardless.
  5. I think you may have answered your own question there.
  6. Another covid outbreak could save us. And relegate pigs. UTO FTB
  7. We may be about to slip to the lowest level we've ever been at in our 160 year history, but there's no doom and gloom.
  8. Those embargoes will be lifted or reduced dramatically if anyone with sufficient wealth takes over.
  9. And I'll bring my waders and landing net.
  10. 80,000 seat stadium Premier League Champions Champions League winners And that's just for starters. But would probably settle for a competitive Championship side, reduced ticket prices, cheaper shirts and four sides of the current ground that are safe.
  11. You're most probably right, some will, and if they do they should not be abused because of it. Please respect each other, even if you have different opinions. WAWAW UTO
  12. I belive you. The problem I have with it is that if it was around the time Danny Röhl had just come back, he probably did think a takeover was going through. As we now know, that turned out to be a farce.
  13. I think we'll be sold before Christmas. Even with reduced wages, there's no way the club can be sustained with the income it will generate and Chansiri won't use his own money any more. He'll eventually accept an offer.
  14. How would that be possible Neil? Who would be in a position to do it?
  15. Get your point but there are two ways of looking at it. I see it that if we sell out our away allocation, but play home games in a nearly empty stadium, it sends a very clear message to Chansiri that we are still as willing as ever to support the team, just not to support Chansiri. We're more than happy to turn out in numbers as long as Chansiri does not benefit from it. He may/may not get some income from away sales, but the £7k or so he'd get from a sell out at Leicester will simply pay one player for one week, it won't materially help him in any way.
  16. For me Textor would be at the very least a short term solution. I would not have great confidence in his model though. It's strange, his teams seem to do well on the field but are a mess off it, and despite getting results, fans seems to want shut of him. Gladly take him now though and worry later.
  17. Fit and proper status must be questionable now. EFL can't keep their eyes closed to this.
  18. Never thought we'd be in a position where I now dream of Mike Ashley being owner of Sheffield Wednesday.
  19. I saw hundreds of Wednesday shirts at Tramlines this weekend, ASDA ones, Sanderson, Chupa Chups, the Pulp special edition ones etc., but can honestly say I don't recall seeing a new one. I was quite pleased about that, because I thought most of this boycotting talk was confined solely to the world of Owlstalk and fully expected to see loads of people in this new thing. Starting to believe we might actually be able to starve him out after all. UTO
