A mate of mine told me that this is exactly what happened (he told me a few months ago). He’d been told this by someone from the engineering firm that did the initial assessment.
That’s true, but he did have a role during this period (facilitator?). I guess my point is, we already have the consortium’s view point via Symon. Not sure what else there is to say on the matter.
Wasn’t this already covered by Sheffield’s very own Sir Isaac Newton in one of his pod casts? My recollection is that he directly responded to all Chansiri’s bizarre ramblings.
He’s not even accepted a bid yet. Assuming that he’s in London to have a dose of reality put his way by that Hinchcliffe character, then realistically we’re stuck with him until September at the earliest (assuming the R-sole finally takes a trip to the real world).
Not looking forward to it at all cos I’ll be watching Hallam until he’s gone. This is not SWFC, it’s Chansiri FC. Anyone pretending that this is a normal season is delusional.
Until recently, Chansiri was in breach of 3 EFL regulations. Chansiri will have had to make commitments to the EFL as to how those breaches were to be settled and how they would be avoided going forward. The EFL are presumably monitoring this.
My view is that it’s the EFL that has prescribed this course of action to enable the club to continue as a going concern. I don’t think it’s part of any Chansiri master plan.
Renewed our season tickets mainly because it’s time spent with my son. We’ll be spending our time watching Hallam instead until the curse has been lifted.
