  1. Need to be realistic, won't be a full boycott. But if there's less than 8k in ground including away support then that's a success
  2. Will show what a farce the official "attendances" are when there is 6k in stadium but given as 22k
  3. Don't disagree but loved football and knew how to run a club and make a profit out of an industry that swallowed up others. Compared with current incumbent he was a hell of a good bloke and a terrific owner. RIP
  4. Those that went on did what they think was needed, personally think was unwise as risked personal consequence with no reward, but that's their choice and they can do what they want no issues with that . Do have issues with ones that there goading them to do it, saying that there was no risk because couldn't ban us all etc. If you want to make a difference stay away, don't enter ground, don't give him a penny home or away and starve him out.
  5. But going on pitch wasn't ever going to make that any more or less likely Club won't go Chansiri will.
  6. I also hope for world peace and to win lottery. You really think when it's cost club in Extra policing he won't go after those fans?
  7. Not worth the banning orders. Bad idea from start, online keyboard warriors pushing others to risk bans whilst they stay away boycotting. No person at the club will want to push for banning orders but the one that matters will
  8. Until he sues the fans that go on (don't believe for a minute he wouldn't)
  9. @Toadie has written a good piece in the star about the ramifications for the individuals/club. Not sure anyone would think he wouldn't take legal action if he had chance, yeah go on pitch for a pointless exercise, lose your jobs, home, and never be able to set foot in Hillsborough again afterwards, that'll show him!
  10. Wouldn't be shocked if there was policing in the ground tomorrow. Even if nobody gets in pitch at least It'll cost him more money with a big policing bill
  11. And what good did it do or help in anyway to get the owner out?
  12. Probably right, more likely 20 or 30 try, get in trouble and the vindictive sod throws book at them with bans etc
  13. Fully agree not a supporter in the ground against them would be a great idea. Only positive thing protests can achieve is media coverage against chansiri, there been loads of that this week everything all negative so n one direction.
  14. Trust have taken the de facto lead in organising the protests. You've constantly said about education about consequences of actions which i fully agree with. If there's potential that it could definitely rail some of the goodwill they've gotten from the football community no harm then also saying that, don't have to outright say don't do it but actions do have consequences. It's not even the featured game on sky either, if you really wanted to use this option to get massive exposure we have a game live in ITV next month
  15. Virtually every club that's been through similar are saying same that pitch invasions are a bad idea and likely lose us support in wider football community. It's a bad idea and really think the @SWFC Trust should be saying exactly that there is potential for it to undermine do some of the good work they've been doing.
  16. It's a difficult one, just do what you feel is right. I'm in similar mindset, when the non payment of wages to the non football staff started in march that killed it fir me, had already decided no season ticket but after that couldn't stand to pay to watch another game whilst he's still in charge, but do understand the pull to want to go and show support. Maybe the trust could organise something outside of the ground for those staying away to show their support for players pre game when they arrive? A positive demonstration of support for the "team" Hopefully next few months will break this and bring it to a conclusion.
  17. Wasn't that bad to be fair, first half he gave every 50/50 to them but we got a few 2nd half. Not convinced by the 8 mins, but if an away team did at Hillsborough what we were doing we'd be screaming for lots of added on time. Unlucky tonight but a point didn't expect after early goal
  18. Think it's inconsistency though, you see absolutely loads of games where away team's slow game out in 2nd half and refs add bugger all on for it. The 8 was harsh but once he's given 8 he had to play 10 with sub and Palmer going down.
  19. Going back to worry about lack of positive momentum not sure this is correct. Today alone we've been a featured segment on two of talksport's main shows and there's been an article in the times about the wages issue. It's definitely out there in the headlines
  20. It's being covered, was on both breakfast and Jim White shows this morning, article on times online, it's constantly getting press
  21. If course it's happening at end of every month now because there's little income due to protests/boycotts. In a month with 3 home games club probably short of £700k vs what they'd normally expect. That's a big hole
  22. Other than fact even if it's not paid tomorrow under the terms of he agreement club has 7 working days afterwards before NAP can call in the charge and look to sell the ground
  23. End of day the regulator powers to take bad owners to task will solve a lot of that. We're just in the limbo period waiting for it,. Though could count ourselves luck regulator is coming soon, likes of Blackpool and reading had years of this
  24. God no, unionisation isn't the answer to anything.
