  1. Glad Mike Ashley is taking the NDA seriously and letting people know his plans
  2. I think with administration people have definitely got a bit too ahead of themselves with positivity. This season was always going to be a struggle with how DC left us, now that he's gone there's not a lot anyone can really do. Start Cadz instead of Ugbo, start Cooper, they're all limited options that realistically don't massively improve/change or give different tactical options in any major way. This season we were always going down with the squad we had, to have played in a competitive manner for 80% of games has been a surprise and above my expectations. Today must be the worst but I've expected this most games, nothing has changed today, we're a poor squad in a tough league that needs 25 players. It's tragic that we've capitulated somewhat in this, of all games and potentially kick started their season but heads up folks, we've got a lot to look forward to!!!
  3. That is the definition of a Kop!
  4. You’re right but the majority are untrained with no authority to do anything, that could quite easily be our sons or daughters just trying to earn some extra cash on a casual basis! They are not the problem!
  5. I've often wondered post Wembley how a good owner might have capitalised on that. I genuinely feel you could have filled Hillsborough for the coming season, even just by offering EB prices back on sale to anyone that was at Wembley! Another option would have been to sack the manager!!!!
  6. I like it, anthem? not sure but it's better than that Arsenal 'North London Forever' monstrosity!!! Well done.
  7. In a normal season maybe but this is way beyond normal, even for Wednesday. Context is key, encouraging players and coaches who have been largely and royally shafted is quite acceptable this season IMO.
  8. That seems fairly expensive to me, not sure the age of your daughter, especially in League one, fair play that you'd pay it but £400 on the Kop in League one is enough, £200 for u17 would seem a lot to me. Paid £550 in Grandstand for me and an u17 last league one adventure!
  9. 'They're far too good to go down' let's hope they start believing this narrative!!!
  10. I dunno I think the point is that war and those that have lost their lives are remembered, sometimes you can't demand a particular behaviour and just need to focus on the wins! Not sure how you change mass culture with grumpiness!!! I was actually taken aback by the applause but rather than look disrespectful and shaking my head decided that it would be better to join the applause as probably everyone else that joined in did. Perhaps everyone doing these ceremonies around the 11th looses its impact after the 3rd, 4th time you've witnessed it before the 11th, is there a better way?
  11. No unfortunately this came directly from Kris Wigfield, from the Trust meeting that was streamed via WTID podcast on Youtube, Thursday evening. The administrators are seemingly reliant on the EFL's fit and proper test after the Administration team are satisfied that the bidder can run the club for 2 years, this doesn't seem quite enough but this is the criteria and then whoever has bid the highest will be the preferred option.
  12. A feasibility study on each and the findings put to the fans. I would go with the most financially viable long term, presumably the new ground!
  13. I think it will probably happen eventually, I guess there are just bigger issues/priorities at the moment. I think the petition is usually a form of protest, we can probably either put ideas to the club or take things up with the trust rather than petition, I certainly hope so anyway!
  14. Pricing has to be better, got to help younger families afford it. Also what student is travelling to Hillsborough and paying adult prices? Over 40,000 students land in the city every September, 36% stay in the city with potentially very good jobs. Get them hooked with £10 a ticket and a free beer and pie, many could well be future ST holders if treated well!!!!!
