  1. Stop being defeatist. This season is over. Bookmark this game, remember how you feel. Remember what’s happened to the club and bottle it up ready for the next time we play them in a couple of years. they’re absolutely shocking. Coventry would have scored 15 against us today. wipe it down, dust it off. Stop bedwetting and get ready. The future is bright, and it’s blue and white
  2. End of the day nobody knows who it’s gonna be. It’s exciting, it’s brilliant and it’s Sheffield Wednesday. lets show them bacon striped ******** what it’s gonna feel like in a few years in the Sheffield Wednesday supermegaloudbowlofpain
  3. Absolutely! - and I also have zero allegiance because of my 2 mile distance!
  4. I’m particularly interested in the Don story. Just for the poo and giggles
  5. It’s got to happen one day that something just incredible happens to us. Birmingham have theirs - albeit I don’t want us to design a coal fired mosque for a new ground.
  6. Exciting times ahead!! https://www.thestar.co.uk/sport/football/sheffield-wednesday/several-offers-sheffield-wednesday-5412610
  7. I thought it was a mosque! Genuinely!
  8. I don’t mind anyone saying that. Put it this way - the other way around I wouldn’t be affording them any praise whatsoever. I wouldn’t acknowledge the size of the club, I wouldn’t say they have great support, I wouldn’t praise former sides and I wouldn’t acknowledge anything positive about them whatsoever. dont like the guy much - just saying I think he’s been relatively respectful
  9. Maybe he’s just realised how stacked Henrik is and doesn’t fancy it without his Eccy Road posse
  10. Gotta say I think Wilder has been quite respectful to the club and the fan base with his comments so far
  11. Kris, like a breath of fresh air. I for one massively appreciate the fact you are doing a job but doing it as a Sheffield Wednesday fan which is making the communication piece and community engagement really positive. hopefully you can hand it over to someone who’s going to really kick us on. a really important point though - have you melted the elephants down yet?
  12. Be uber ironic for he who should not be named if a bidding war ends up with the core value of the club going for a higher price than was first mentioned but then his own debts only being serviced at £0.25p in the £1.
  13. For me being in league one is poo . But I’m old enough to remember being gutted we didn’t kick on and win the first division or progress further in Europe or win one of the cup finals in 93. We’re riding the crest of a wave at the moment of good feeling and relief following voldemorts departure. however, there’s a hell of a long way to go and a lot of cold nights to come to then be rewarded with a trip to Fleetwood next season for it. A lot of time to retain optimism etc. we’re gonna go down - it’s absolutely imperative we come straight back up or we may find ourselves stuck for a while. So, for me, like every other season we’ve been in that league, it’s about us getting out of it by any means necessary and I never enjoy it.
  14. 100% correct. It has always been highest bid from those that pass the other caveats wins. if the Walton’s (for reference purposes!) were in for us, pass the OADT and fit and proper persons test and offered £50m came along and the only other bid was from Ashley who met the same criteria but offered £51m then the clubs Ashley’s. So it will be interesting as to how stringent the so called fit and proper persons test is these days in case any wronguns appear out of the woodwork
  15. Was anyone actually there that can say what he finished the question about the high net worth person with?
  16. It’s literally just dawned on me that the end of the 28 day marketing period is Friday the 21st November. F5 button being well and truly replaced on the keyboard. performance mode needs to be readied. book day off work. get the beers in the fridge set the Peterborough inside match day on loop. Ready!
  17. We had signs up in south saying water company were to blame, someone asked them and it was rounduns. When you even get to a point of lying about the reason the taps not on it’s got bad hasn’t it! I believe the issue in the north is genuinely a boiler problem and obviously isn’t top of the priority list at present
  18. Do you know what, and I’m happy to be corrected, listening to Kris Wigfield on football heaven last night I got the distinct impression they don’t need the money the trust have generated - although are very grateful for the sentiment. again, this is how i interpreted it and I may be miles off - especially as our money pays for nothing.
  19. South stand pies. Nixons favs
  20. To be fair I don’t think it’ll be getting done by elaborately paid contractors given the administrators duties are to tick the club over as cheaply as possible and extract as much financial value as possible when a sale is eventually on the table. think it was hoped they’d go before this game but clearly run out of time. I also think (saying that a lot!) had it been contractors working at pace we could have just redone the SWFC in the middle rows. soon!!! Keep the faith.
  21. I’d make it pay on the gate too. Why not?
  22. We need to go all out: - Blue and White fireworks - Now That’s What I Call Dramatic Music - Canaries released on the pitch only to find themselves surrounded by Owls that have been starved for 6 weeks. - Pyro on every home seat
  23. United couldn’t sell out cup semi finals or play off finals. they most certainly wouldn’t sell out under the same situation we find ourselves in.
  24. The leppings lane lower would sell at least half if opened. May be a bit late now but it’s always been a popular choice of seating for people - ******** bottles excepted.
