I don’t see the point of blaming individuals or the manager. There’s a huge gulf between our squad and literally everyone else’s. This season is all about living with and accepting the Chansiri legacy. All eyes on 5th December….

I’m resigned to moving away from Hillsborough if we get ambitious owners with deep pockets. The Hillsborough footprint isn’t large enough to accommodate a real fanzone or big revenue generating concourses. Hillsborough being next to a river that burst its banks recently is a clincher.

Barry Bannan Interview - The Times

Sounds like he’s decided that he wants to finish his career at Wednesday - even if that means L1. -
A message for the new owner(s)

Hopefully they give Pederson a shot with a full structure around him and a director of football. -
Hirsty and his lad fell out with Chancer. I can’t begin to imagine who was at fault.

Mike Ashley preparing a bid
fife_owl replied to ChrisWaddlesMullet's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
For me, it’s the fact that in the entire 14 years, he didn’t invest in the club at all. His interest in Coventry was simply to make money. I think that we can do far, far better than Ashley. -
Mike Ashley preparing a bid

Mike Ashley would clearly be vastly better than Chansiri…. But he would simply delay getting an owner with a vision that matches our dreams. No academy investment, no training ground investment and no stadium investment. A two year flip for profit. -

Should a new Owner retain Pedersen OR replace?

I think that he’s earned a proper shot at head coach with a director of football. -
Hopefully they had someone there yesterday and saw what the Wednesday family is all about. You’d think that if they really want us - then they’d get us. The Wednesday way is that they’ll buy Bristol City instead!

Is that real? What was it posted on?

People used to running professional sports teams, with a long term bottom up plan and the finances to support it. Waltons fit the bill.

BREAKING: just days from a winding-up order over tax bill
fife_owl replied to MattP's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
He must sell now mustn’t he? He’s effectively lost the stadium and liquidation of the club will result in him getting peanuts as there’s virtually no assets? -
I think he’ll get better with more match time, but will always make mistakes. Let’s enjoy the good days.
-
He’d be a good head coach in a new structure.

He might turn up himself, if the peasant customers aren’t going to be there?
