  1. I estimate losses in each of the L1 years to have been £10m-£14m; official accounts show £24m each of the last 2 Championship years. A Chansiri able+willing to fund a £10m loss for 23-24 could still spend £12m this season on wages and amortised transfer fees from where we are.
  2. from a guy who’s a Wednesday fan on Twitter who knows his financial stuff but obviously this is roughly speaking The three year loss limit for 21-24 is £43m for us. After exemptions from P&S for academy, community etc. I have us at having lost £18m in 21-23 and, with things as they are with the squad currently including offered contracts accepted, +£2.5m for 23-24. 43-18+2.5=27.5
  3. Yeah obviously they’re not my figures but Peter Lohmann’s who works all this out on Twitter. Problem is if you spend it all in season 1 then you have nothing for the other 2 seasons over the 3 year rolling period. If DCs willing to fund upto FFP then we have a bigger budget than most people think if you spend it correctly!
  4. Agreed. There’s lots of team we could follow. But it’s always seems like us and DC are behind times by around 20 years! if it is Smith hopefully he can find some bargains!
  5. Yes it will be a smaller budget. He actually projected a lower 14m loss this season which would have us being able to spend around 16million but most teams in champ lose around 20million a season. if your clever with the money (which DC isn’t) you can get young upcoming players for decent prices compared to your “older pros”. I think DCs approach will be frees/loans only.
  6. Having debated this with Peter Lohmann on Twitter on what we could spend. His summary and workings out are that if we’re projected to loose circa 12 million in last years account and around 20 million in this season accounts we would roughly have around 10 million up to FFP limits to spend on transfer fees/wages if DC wanted to do that. Crnt see him doing that TBH
  7. I’m gutted Darren has gone. My personal opinion is that this is on chansiri given his track record. Moore knew he’d be working with free transfers and loans but maybe the budget wasn’t as high as he’d liked or chansiri saying no to his targets. Don’t get why folk are saying chansiri didn’t trust him with a bigger pot of money. You only have to look at the last 2 set of accounts to know we haven’t a pot to pee in with FFP. Could be wrong but this is DC decision to let him go.
  8. Hi Does anyone know if the shop inside Meadowhall have a contact number please? Thank you
  9. Agh thanks for that. You reckon we should have some room to be under the £39m loss taking into account the 2020/21 period?
  10. So next years accounts will minus the £34 million on the 3 year rolling period?. Leaving us with a 20.5 million profit and £22.5 million loss. So we basically next year crnt lose more than £37 million with a COVID season or we’re over FFP?
  11. Having to sell my season ticket due to change at work. It’s T2 Row 4 in Kop and looking to get £250 for the remaining 15 games of season which is cheaper than half season ticket prices.
  12. Due to a change of work circumstances Iv got my season ticket up for sale if anyone’s interested. It’s T2 in Kop , Row 4.Im selling it cheaper than half season ticket prices.
