DC can find money when he wants

Imagine being so desperate to hang on to a company that you can't afford to run and the customers all hate you. -

66 left at 10:27am, but these are the "last tickets". -
Got to be more to it than that, other clubs don't get teenage players being out injured for months after playing 5 games in a month. We're just fkng jinxed.

Think the ground switch was enforced due to them not having the correct certificates or something for the refurbed Nou Camp, they've switched back to the Olympic Stadium for the last game or two. I don't think any of the big clubs really care about the fans any more, it's all about the money. They'll get FA Cup replays that most of the first team players probably wouldn't even have been playing in scrapped, but will fly thousands of miles straight after the season ends just to play a lucrative friendly.
-
Bet their season ticket holders are impressed. But the clubs won't care, they'll probably just refund one game pro-rata and then make tons more back selling tickets for these games at inflated prices to the locals.

Not turning up and effectively handing the pigs a home game to hammer us live on terrestrial TV is hardly "the ultimate protest", especially so soon after another official boycott. This, of all games, has to be the nuclear option and we need to literally get the game abandoned. Everyone who was umming and aahing about potential punishment for going on will have seen that nothing happened to the handful who went on at the weekend, so no excuse now for not getting mass numbers on, only needs a few hundred to be properly effective tbh. Don't walk off when the stewards ask, and they can't remove everybody by force. Biggest game of the season abandoned, national and international humilation for Chansiri, plus a possible fine and games held behind closed doors, and ITV end the programme early and show a repeat of War Of The Monster Trucks - that's a proper protest.

Brilliant player, and does so much "unseen" work. No coincidence that their season went to pot last year when he got injured, they're so much more solid when he's there, they'll be up there challenging this season if he stays fit.

Live on ITV. As many as possible in the pitch and don't move, get it abandoned this time.

Charlton Tickets - Price Increase
alanharper replied to TOMC's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Tickets & Travel
£32 is def the correct total price if buying a single ticket online. If the 4 you bought on Friday were all in one online transaction it'd have been £31 per ticket inc booking fees and then £1 postage on top (they'll post all 4 in the same envelope) If you can actually get to the ticket office to buy them there are no booking fees or postage. -

Usually a quid for postage as well -
Noticed in their player ratings on the BBC match report today he got by far the lowest, only 2.33 out of 10, even less than the rest of the Rangers team. I know those ratings are always skewed by people giving either maximum or minimum rating but odd that even then he was adjudged to be by far the worst player on the pitch.

Trust Call For Full Boycott Against Middlesbrough
alanharper replied to TZOwl's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
I'm the insufferable "I haven't missed a game for years" sort of fan. Been going for just short of 45 years and only missed a handful of home league games in that time, probably a single figure. Bar a few which I unwillingly missed in the 80s due to being on family holidays (who goes on holiday during the football season ffs?!) other than the behind closed doors covid games since 1981 I've only missed 3, in 1992, 1995 and 2021 (when I literally had Covid, I worked out at the time it ended a run of attending 594 consecutive home league games, again not including the behind closed doors ones) and also been at almost all of the home cup games in that time too. Dragged myself there even when I really shouldn't have to keep that record up, like when I went to see us play Dagenham & Redbridge when I had shingles. Arranged holidays around not missing games, came back from Florida a day early so I didn't miss a 0-0 draw with Rushden & Diamonds, etc. I'm not going to the Middlesbrough game. If I can give it a miss then there's really no excuses for anybody. I've already missed the two home cup games this season. And I've already known for a long time that if the c**t is still here I won't be going next season at all.- 304 replies

We may be on our arse but at least we're not Blades
alanharper replied to Pablo Bonvin's topic in General Football Chat
Didn't they only do that after changing the manager though? Pigs have already done that, and "the Wilder effect" that they were creaming over after winning a game currently stands at a 75% loss ratio. -

alanharper replied to fedupowl's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
His biggest revenue source these days is the ticket money from visiting fans. Cut that out, especially for the derby, and he's struggling even more. -
That was 1981. First time I went to Barnsley was much later than that, 1990 when Palmer equalised in the last minute, and they played it then as well. Absolute cringe, everybody was just laughing at them.

RIP Milan, thanks for everything. Still doesn't get as much credit as he deserves for literally saving our club from going under.

Always been the case for World Cups being hosted in the Americas, which used to be every alternate one until 2002, many games have been on after midnight European time. With the number of games being played now, I'm sure there's no way that they can fix it so that all the European teams play their matches later in the day due to the temperature. .

Shirt Sleeves - What was going on in this era ?
alanharper replied to Kopparberg's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
This one and the yellow and purple number are the only shirts from the 90s that randomly still fit me, the others are very "snug" to say the least. Sods law that they're two of the few that are widely available as DHGate copies now.
