  1. I agree providing their number of appearances isn't enhanced with a few 10 minute sub appearances at the end. I think records should be genuine..
  2. We need 3 things to attract more support , some form of success, fair ticket pricing and a better stadium , practically every decent home seat in the ground has been taken.( I don't class the seats on the lower leppings lane end as decent in terms of a view of the game and what will be thrown at you
  3. It feels quite strange but I find these updates more exciting than actually going to a match
  4. This is what we should be asking regarding lots of aspects of the club ie find out which of our peers does something well and do that ourselves.
  5. View excellent! it might be for the goal near you but what on earth can you see of the goal at the kop
  6. The main reason I would like to stay at s6 is that the area around the ground offers everything you reasonably could want.
  7. Just build a stadium at the current location.
  8. most hospitality packages offer some form of post match catering. With the right sized bar there is no doubt there is a market for extending this to normal ticket holders. You only have to look at how busy the local pubs are for the hour after the game.
  9. Spot on, let's achieve something and then celebrate it
  10. I think the idea of statues of 2 30 odd year old footballers is a bit embarassing The men in question are great blokes , recognising them is a good idea but not this way
  11. I don't think the average attendance is what matters. What does matter is the potential attendance at big matches. With Manchester just over the hill we are a local game for two of the biggest clubs in the world. We are obviously local to Leeds but the North East Clubs because of their isolation also see us as a good away day. My point is we don't need to challenge in the premiership to have several sell out crowds we just need to be in and stay in the division.
  12. Is their a link to their speeches?
  13. I think this shows once and for all that a premiership Wednesday needs a 40k plus capacity stadium
  14. A result that neither team will be happy with, we just dont have enough
  15. 1988-89 before eustace got sacked and atkinson got the job would be my guess
