Drove through Hillsborough just now, saw quite a few black and yellow scarves and shirts. WTF do people just not get it?

Boycotted the Leeds game, as I will the Grimsby game, but please go for a pint in Hillsborough and the surrounding areas, pubs are losing thousands in lost revenue. Before the Leeds game I had a pint in the Hillsborough Tap, must have been 25 people in max, normally would have been rammed. Then went up to The Park,, not much more. Northern Monkey and Brass Monkey were completely empty BTW. Then onto the Jubilee, there were 12 of us including the staff, finally up to Wadsley Bridge WMC. These business's are losing thousands due to 1 man. All those that say “it’s a match day thing, I miss my mates” make the effort, do the match day routine, meet your mates, spend the money in the pub and keep these business's alive. You’ll enjoy it. Most modern footballs are literally like a bar of soap when wet. Since most professional pitches are soaked before a game and again at half time keepers have had to look at different ways to get a grip, so to speak. The problem with Vaseline is it wrecks the latex, not a problem if you are a highly paid pro who gets his gloves for free. More and more keepers are applying it during games especially during a downpour.

I wish my son’s salary was correct according to capology. He too is a young pro and earns no where near what they have him earning. Maybe correct for players higher up the food chain but not for those at the bottom.

Said it for a good while Johansson is a no brainer for £750k, shot stopper first and foremost he makes saves others don’t, brave, excellent on through balls (something Beadle still needs to work on) but he wont come to Hillsborough or the Lane IMO. Has a lot of options open to him.

Went to the Rotherham Brum game today, I’d be doing all I could to get Johansson, 750K would be a steal but I’m sure he will have lots of clubs after him.

He plays very deep, it’s his style. Checkout his highlight reel. Watch a few of the goals he’s conceded so far from distance, the 1st Coventry goal springs to mind. Playing a yard deeper than the norm should allow an extra split second reaction time to maybe get an extra step in, problem is if you don’t get the extra step in you don’t get near the ball if it’s in right in the corner.

I don’t think Johansson at Rotherham would suit DR’s style of playing out. He will leave in the summer but can’t see him coming here.
