  1. Remember when we had too many attacking options, That's what Liverpool are going to have to figure out on a greater scale with Wirtz, Salah, Ekitike, Isak, Gakpo etc... Make it click and stick with it.
  2. Yeah agree, I don't see Forest, Villa or Newcastle finishing 4th. Then we have Chelsea, Tottenham, Palace, Everton and Bournemouth with their house in order. Such a shame Man Utd will yet again be in turmoil. As a neutral fan of the premier league, we want to see entertained and see everyone at their best. Man utd are miles off.
  3. Don't like to admit it but if Arsenal are brave enough, it's there year. I see an organised, experienced team that will be consistent. I like watching Man City, but reliance on Haaland is too great. Plus only playing 1 of Nico or Rodri doesn't make them defensively sound. (Whearas Arsenal play Zubimendi and Rice together) Liverpool, will be rock and roll all season. Plenty of talent, but I don't see a connected team. The balance is off, Wirtz and Salah look like they don't belong in the same team. 2 attacking players without defensive duties. Still getting overrun in midfield, despite playing McAllister and Gravenbach. Crystal Palace will finish 4th. If they knock back another bid for Guehi in January.
  4. Best we can hope for in January, 500k from West Brom and they loan him back to us.
  5. They wouldn't have me. I wouldnt align with their thinking. Taking the game away from the working man or woman, in the name of greed isn't a job I'd like
  6. I have zero interest in getting ripped off going to a game. I think "dynamic pricing" is the wrong term for what we are seeing. The correct term is "course correction" The starting prices are absurd, but some will pay, to organise tickets, hotel, transport etc... The local host city, days & hours before the games, will then be privvy to $50-$100 dollar tickets to make sure attendances are high per game. So you'll have James from England, travelling and paying £3000+ for 1 game, but John from Canada will get to see the game for £40 as a neutral. I think my plan is to attempt to be in America for 3 weeks during the world cup, to atleast be on the same time schedule. 3 weeks in Las Vegas will probably cost the same as going to 1 England game?
  7. Even if the starting 11 is Championship quality and capable at this level. There is no belief, no confidence, no certainty, no trust in each other's effort level. We're the worst prepared team, We are the team nobody should lose against. The team with the most turmoil. Pedersen will probably get replaced before Chansiri leaves at this rate.
  8. Doesn't matter what starting 11 is on the pitch, whether it seems capable or not. The mentality, strength in numbers, the belief etc...is not there.
  9. Nothing bitter, let's be better. Show future owners we're a grateful bunch. Thankyou for the good times and we move on.
  10. I really think we'll see a step backwards for Nottingham Forest now. Tottenham finished 17th last season with Ange. They've signed 4 players from Botafogo? Plus a new manager, it's all about adjusting. Survival has to be goal for this season, as wild as that sounds.
  11. Lack of forward thinking, planning. When it's come to securing capable players for the long term benefits of the club. Shaw, Hirst, Uhroghide, Dele-Bashiru etc... Losing these players for frees or nominal fees, probably was the beginning of me losing faith in our owner. My expectations, visions for our club being totally out of sync with reality of our situation.
  12. It's the hope that kills us. Anybody buying a football club, wants it at a rock bottom price. If you're buying an appliance, that uses alot of electricity...you'd hope the appliance would be cheap... Our day will come, where we can burn electricity again.
  13. We to sign some new players, But the efl said, No No No To Amy Winehouse...
  14. Makes me laugh, Wednesday are in talks? Who's doing the talking?
  15. Madueke, Gyorkeres, Havertz, Eze, Saka, Merino, Nwarneri etc...are attacking players that don't lift the title come end of the season. You need world class, Isak, Salah, Ekiteke will the be the ones with a premier league medal. If Isak is world class. Everyone had their chance to sign him. Arsenal will be top 4 tho. And are Man City expecting Haaland to play 60 games this season? They should have kept Delap, similar stature. Also well done West Ham, Lucas Pacqueta will not be used as a pawn for Aston Villa higher ups. Villa signed Rashford on loan, he did well, they refused to cough up the agreed fee. Tried it with Pacqueta, 5m loan fee which sounds impressive, but history shows, they've no intention paying 45m agreed fee after loan.
