  1. Can’t see Ashley being this proactive in speaking to the council about a new stadium..
  2. And people say Charlie Methven wouldn’t be a good leader of the club. He was born for moments like this.
  3. The opening post is deeply embarrassing and I hereby declare my distancing away from it.
  4. Woaw, woaw. You can’t just throw accusations around like that.
  5. The twist here is that the repair man was actually Barry Bannan.
  6. Jesus man. Can’t win with some fans.
  7. Never understood the fan mindset of ‘moving on’ and forgetting previous managers and players. Bit of a jealous ex mentality. “WhY dO yOu CaRe WhAT He doEs aT RaNgeRs?” Because he was a big part of Wednesday and I’m now curious as to how his future path in football management plays-out.
  8. Thought this was going to be a thread about Rhinos.
  9. Agreed on all of this, and I think it everytime I go anywhere other than Hillsborough… The specifics cited are often the same: - entertainment in/around the ground - slick food and drink service, with better options - modern toilets and other facilities - good transport links (sometimes) - An overall perception that not every single bit of the enjoyment of the day was based purely on what happens on the pitch. Although Chansiri, Dave Allen etc have been woeful owners who have held us back in the modern age, I do think a lot of the major improvements could only be truly realised with a new stadium..
  10. Insightful and logical thoughts on Wednesday from the former Sunderland owner, Charlie Methven. https://youtu.be/RJd40KLHaKw?si=ia1PngXN6GOAdL6g
  11. It was too late to edit this, but I wanted to add that Chansiri has reportedly watched ‘The Sixth Sense’ 14 times and still thinks Bruce Willis is alive at the end.
  12. He wouldn’t understand it even if he was.
