  1. Agree with this. Although in my opinion Ingelsson is a class act, runs himself into the ground, can pass, cross, good long throw, can’t shoot for but everything else he’s spot on, unfortunately he’s got nothing to aim at. Liam Roberts at Mansfield is far better than Horvath btw, but the point is fair. However he’s here, he’s standing up and putting a shift in and he’s all we’ve got. It’s a miracle that these lads are competitive as they are. I just can’t believe there’s people out there moaning that we’re not winning games.
  2. 1000x this. We lost half our squad, we’re down to the bare bones, patched up with kids and the lads we have got left are running themselves into the ground. The fact they’re actually competing is a minor miracle, just enjoy it when we do well and ignore it when we don’t. There’s better times ahead
  3. Thanks but showing sold out on the website. I must have blinked and missed them.
  4. Just looking for one adult ticket if anybody has a spare. Thanks in advance
  5. Wont hear a word against the manager or any of the lads this season, even if we finish on -6. We’ve flogged all our good players, and the ones that weren’t flogged handed their notice in. We have a tiny squad, padded out with kids, all of whom had no pre-season and as a result are dropping like flies with injuries. We’ve even had to ask ever so nicely to even be allowed a goalkeeper.. twice. And somehow we haven’t been battered, other than by Coventry who batter everybody at the moment. The results are absolutely irrelevant this season, the fact that this squad is even remotely competitive is a minor miracle and HP and the lads have imo massively over performed. 10/10 for the lot of them.
  6. I know this is a very happy day and I don’t want to be negative. But you really shouldn’t have called your daughter Barry.
  7. Looking for one if at all possible? Thanks in advance
  8. Went to a few away games last season which are always enjoyable but it’s been gradually less and less games at home. Its been a long time since going to Hillsborough was genuinely enjoyable for me personally, just look at the state of it, but when he started asking for £45-50 for tickets a couple of seasons ago, it was a case of enough is enough. It’s horrible to admit, but aside from a few promising young kids who will inevitably leave for nothing, there is so rarely anything positive about Wednesday, the club is always under a cloud, moving from one false dawn to another embargo, points deduction, relegation and possible winding up orders as we’ve had before, eventually it just wears people down. I’ve been ground hopping and watching more non league football recently, and the £10 tickets, beer in the stands and generally not giving a throw about the result has been so refreshing.
  9. Bog roll with his face on it would be a much bigger seller
  10. That Charlton goal is just a big bucket of gravy tbh
  11. Would have been a hilarious “DC hasn’t paid the clock guy” joke if we were at home. Pop back next week if you’re interested
  12. Only thing I can see coming out of this thread is the story about what went off between the coach and the mum.
  13. He’ll be sold to Charlton in January for 100k. Good on him though, looked the part since he’s come in and should only get better with games. Nice to have something positive to enjoy, just hope they can see this out now.
  14. Röhl had options, Pedersen doesn’t. Lets be honest, it really doesn’t matter anyway
