Bristol city ticket
HodgeOwl replied to Georgiewhitesaunders's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Tickets & Travel
I ordered one for my 9-year-old as an add-on which hasn't arrived - think I may have been rejected as I ordered it on its own. Anyone have a spare kids ticket? Can meet at the ground tomorrow. Thank you. -
We used to do it a lot last season too. I would go as far as to say we would have got automatic promotion had we not done it so much last season. Infuriating!
-
Too much, unfortunately!!

The most frustrating thing about watching Wednesday right now... When we have the ball in the final third, and a chance to play a ball down the line or put a cross in the box, we pass it backwards without fail and usually it ends up back with the keeper. Anyone got any idea why we choose to do this? We are so backwards in every sense!
-
Let's face it, he's had a crap season before tonight, but he contributed massively to that win... taking a yellow card to stop a dangerous counter attack - and then top binning the final penalty with such composure. Outstanding contributions!
-
Good points. Just hope DM can bottle some of that from tonight and use it in the final...and next season. I get what you're saying about putting everything on the line In an all or nothing game, but even 20% or 30% of the determination and spirit they showed tonight would have made a difference. I guess it's why deep down we all love Wednesday - the thrill of the roller coaster! My boys (age 11 and 9) were so gutted last Friday but tonight they were full of joy and pride and I reckon that game has cemented them as Owls fans for life.

...why didn't we play with that style and passion for the last 8 to 10 league games?? So frustrating! Whichever league we are in next season, we need to be more positive and not try to defend one goal leads. Hopefully Moore has learned a valuable lesson as I would love him to bring us success. Anyway, what's done is done - let's have another performance like that and smash whoever faces us at Wembley!! Up the owls!

Yes, there was over the 6 minutes played...because they time wasted so much during the time added on. The ref told them he would be adding it on!

Cheers. I'm going anyway but got a mate who would have it. Is it a physical ticket, or on email? -
Bristol ticket available

Is this still available please mate? -
Thought Wilks changed the game when he came on last night, combined with the change in formation putting 3 up top. It put them on the back foot and we started to play much better football. Also, I was impressed with how he put himself about and seemed to win more challenges than the rest of our midfielders had (Vaulks excepted) in the previous 75 minutes.

Cheltenham - M.O.M & Ratings
HodgeOwl replied to Lord Snooty's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Stockdale 7 - important saves, would have been 8 but for the 2nd goal Palmer 6 - looked tired but was generally solid Iorfa 5 - quick at the back and good at times but the 1st goal was due to a howler from him. James 7 - thought he looked bright and played some important passes. Hunt 4 - just not enough attacking threat in the wide role. Bakinson 5 - did a few good things but not consistent and lacking at winning the ball / tackling Vaulks 8 - gave shape, drive and won most of the battles in the middle. Unlucky with a couple of shots. Bannan 5 - looked very tired after his newborn arrival. Nothing seemed to come off apart from the free kick for tour 1st. Johnson 6 - in and out of the game, but good when he did get involved. Would love to see him attack the defender every time, like when he put the cross in for the Adeniran chance. Gregory 7 - battled Well and got the goal Smith 6 - needs to head through the ball and smash it into the goal. Got an extra point for the burst and cross for the 2nd goal. ................. Flint 7 - defence better and better ariel threat when he came on. Good headed goal. Wilks 8 - for his little time on the pitch he won multiple challenges, gave us new energy, put them on the back foot and changed the game. Excellent cameo. Would like to see him start on Saturday. Adeniran NA -
Season completely turned on its head

Keep the faith! The last 15 minutes last night showed we have the fight - we just need to channel that fight into the start of games. For me, the turnaround last night was largely down to the introduction of Wilks and going to 3 up top, which put them on the back foot. Having his pace will help massively going forward and to be fair he also got really stuck in when he came on last night, winning the ball back a few times. We stayed behind as my little lads wanted photos with the players as they got on the bus. The players were all gutted not to get the win - only Stockdale saw the positive in coming back from 2-0 down. Also spoke to DM who told us to "stick with us" and he said he was confident we'll get 3 points on Saturday and get back on track. Jack Hunt looked in a bad way, limping onto the bus and having to be helped up the steps. Asked about Byers and Windass but nothing was given away - the gut feeling I got from the answers was that we may not see them play again this season. The positive for me is that Wilks looked very up for it last night and will give us different options going forward. Also, we need to get behind the lads as the roar and singing from the away end last night after Flint's goal visibly lifted the players to come back and very nearly win. -
I hope my gut feeling is wrong, but the kind of behaviour that you could see up close at FGR was worrying - sloppiness, not working hard, players not talking to each other, heads down, muttering to themselves when another player made a mistake etc. We need a complete change of attitude on Wednesday. Hopefully DM has held an open and honest meeting with the players and done some team building stuff - he definitely seems to be good at man management so I still have hope we can get back on course.

Was at the game yesterday - it was bad enough, but I had to sit with the delirious home fans with my 2 boys. Anyway, what really struck me (and surprised my 2 little lads) was the body language of our players. It was worrying and seemed like something's wrong in the camp (like when they weren't paid!). Even Bannan didn't have the usual fire and passion - it was only when Vaulks came on that I saw one of our players encouraging others with rigorous hand clap and a "come on". Talking of body language, it was also noticeable from the home stand how quiet our fans were. This is probably because the team played so poorly, but would they have snapped back into life if we were in full voice?? We really need to get that 12th man thing back! Did the edginess of our fans rub off on the players? Going to Cheltenham on Wednesday and in the away end this time - let's make sure we fire the players up! We can't throw this away now - players and fans included!

Hoping someone can help please... Looking for tickets for Cheltenham in the away end. Ideally one adult/student and two U16s but will consider anything going. Thank you.

Thanks all- WAWAW! Seems like the website isn't the best on some devices, but it is legit- it's big German gas company who are a Champions League sponsor. As Trev mentioned, you may need my specific code- 4061 -to vote for the video. Thanks again!

Hi all, Hoping my fellow Owls can help me out by voting for the below video to get me and my young un to a Champions League game next season... https://www.gazprom-football.com/en/fotf/video/4061/ok.htm#line-video As you can see, he's sporting his Owls training top in the interview, which was recorded in the Champions League fan park in Cardiff on Saturday. Thanks all!
