I really dislike him and his poo tippy tippy team, and I hope they get relegated, he gets sacked and his dog gets piles up its nose but the foul was just outside the box.
-
he pulled their player back. definite booking.
-
That list just makes me more certain we'll beat them - we have better players than any of those
-
Yes. I think the players he brought in are better than the likes of Pelupessy, Harris, Van Aken, Kachunga and Rhodes.
-
Our pitch is our secret weapon. We don’t like but the other teams hate it, particularly when they try to play football instead of just playing for long throws.
-
The best thing he’s done is bring in good players. Byers, Johnson, Gregory, NML, maybe Saido - all better than what we had last year.
-
We should scrap our youth teams - we NEVER produce any really good players and would be better off taking Premier League cast offs
-
The best kids get snapped up by other clubs - no parent of a really talented kid is bringing him to us. We should take the premier league castoffs versus wasting time with kids who are clearly not the right material. It’s not like they make it elsewhere after leaving us - Vardy being the massive exception

What was it like watching Wednesday in the 70s?

That might be the game I got hooked on the high that is Sheffield Wednesday. It's a powerful drug. -
Never understood the hatred. A premier league club came in for him while he was managing a championship club with no money. Absolutely no one would have turned that down.

6 of our next 7 games are against bottom half teams...

2015 at the Den... do you remember this one?

Only at Millwall would they literally have the daggers out. -
Worst thing you've witness from a Wednesday player

I didn't see it, but didn't Tudgay miss the start of the season with a broken toe having dropped a bottle of beer on it. -
He looked like he’d given up heading the ball earlier this season.
-
Maybe the injuries have been a good thing because they've stopped Moore tinkering with the team. That said, we're an injury to Luongo, Hutch or Bannan, from being average again.
-
I’m surprised no one has blamed Carlos.
-
You know who's shut up his (ridiculous) critics?

he also put Johnson's disallowed goal on a plate. He may misplace a few passes but he doesn't let the moaners get him down and just keeps playing. -
Conceding too many goals
ny owl replied to We are all Wednesday's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
3 or 4 at the back isn’t the problem. For the first and last goals yesterday we weren’t exposed, we simply didn’t compete in the air. -
If VAR looked at that, they’d focus on the contact - which there was - and correctly give a pen. The dive doesn’t matter. Look at the one city got against Arsenal.

How many players will SWFC swap out in January?
ny owl replied to @owlstalk's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
The reality is that if all of our players were fit, the first team would essentially be last year’s team. The transfers and loans in the summer have generally not worked. -
What did we learn from Saturday and Moore?

Defending Jos while blaming Carlos. Barmy. -
Correct They got the corner because their center half ran right to our area unchallenged.

Pitches in the 60s and 70s
ny owl replied to Daniele Giovanni's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
I saw an interview with Trevor Francis and he was asked what he'd like most if he could play today. Instead of saying 500 grand a week, he said he'd love to play on today's pitches. -
If he could play 30 odd games for us this season we'd go up. Big IF unfortunately.
