You make it sound like we're dealing with a rational individual of sane mind! -
The fellas/s who founded Thornbridge are Wednesday fans aren't they? If so I'm sure the business is sufficiently well established and profitable that they'd be happy to write off a season's takings in the Tap if it meant displacing the Thai Tuna pleb!

The most enjoyable aspect was that there was zero reaction from the team!

You've missquoted/ misinterpreted me: I didn't call the people in the photo scabs but I called the transactions 'scab purchases'. I did however allude to them being Wallys so you can add that to your list if you like!

This draw is a nightmare in our household. All the inlaws are Grimsby fans and will be like tramps on chips over this game. Our child is 8 but doesn't give a throw about football but his plans for the fixture will now become a battle ground. Hopefully I can convince him to stay at home with his old Dad!

Wow! Even after all that's gone on, apathy and indifference still rein free amongst some of our fan base.

Just waiting on sightings of Gregor Raziak and Micheal Mols for a full house at heavily linked bingo here!

Clubs in absolute crisis/ on the brink and still shybo, one-upman ship and in-fighting like this!

This would be bad enough if it was a bunch of seasoned professionals on big contracts refusing to play. Sadly it's the under 18's, youths and a sprinkling of pro's who were previously fringe members of the squad. Surely the shame of the clown show at S6 must be affecting Chansiri at this point or is he in the mindset of some criminal who's fled the crime scene, is on the run and being tailed by Interpol right now?

So many comments on here by people who don't appear to have read any of the 'article'. The 'journalist' barely mentions Chansiri or the shambles that he's created. His focus seems to be firmly fixed on blaming the fans/ institution of SWFC and sticking the boot in rather than focus the root cause of all this and the Thai clown that's presided over our embarrassing demise and shameful current predicament. I did think that that any bad press had to help removing the cancer that is Chansiri but this is just an article by a fella who has a axe to grind with SWFC and its fan base but doesn't want to scratch the surface of how the club/ facilities and safety arrangements came to be in the state they are. A completely amateurish half baked and lazy article just as I'd expect from the Daily Mail.

The cocksure rebel and a grafting Geordie

Do you really believe that? Still nice to see a glint of belief amongst a sea of despondance. -
Harsh to compare him to Kachunga. Kachunga should only be mentioned in hushed tones much like the reverence that is reserved for Francis Jeffers, Izzy Brown and Ashley Fletcher.

Places you’ve seen/met a player or seen a shirt

I forgot Tony Crane too! I was looking forward to playing against him at 5 a side at Concord long after he'd finished playing . Sadly he'd forgot his trainers so just spent an hour chain smoking while watching us. He also turned up to a BBQ i was at as he was a friend of my mates ex girlfriend. -

It makes you wonder if Carlton Palmer ever goes home or just wanders around eaths cities, nightclubs and bars. My underwhelming encounters have been: Carlton Palmer solo on the prowl around club WOW round about the time he'd re-signed for us. Dejan Stefanovich and his very tidy missus in Meadowhall not long after he'd signed, (Darko nowhere to be seen/ probably allready planning his escape). Kevin Pressman and his young family filling their faces in Attercliffe Pizza Hut circa 1995. Chris Brunt and Glen Whelan on a double date/ waiting at the Arena tram stop after a Lionel Ritchie Gigg. Matt Hamshaw in Revolution bar (might have been other players with him but my memory is faltering) wearing a tee-shirt that I'd also got although thankfully wasn't wearing at the time. -
I haven't got the will to trawl through the 95 pages since this post but did anyone provide an answer? I'm sure it was called Old Orleans initially and they also served crocodile due to the Deep South theme.

I can't reveal too much more at this stage but there's been another bid from a Brighton based consortium headed by Elton John and RuPaul!
