All pressure on United; currently second, squad value, best away record in league, so a free hit for us. Having said all that we'll kick their backsides!

Who have been our most enigmatic players

A draw is the best outcome if we can win as it guarantees we stay up.

After all the hype leading up to his transfer he has been very disappointing. Get rid in the summer.

Danny know who he is

We're the best team going into the playoffs.

When I hear comments like this I always think back to the 2016 play off games against Brighton where they finished 3rd on goal difference and we finished sixth. -
Do you have the lottery results as well?

Awful decision.

WEDNESDAY V LINCOLN CITY - OMDT
Gresh replied to Lord Snooty's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Back to winning ways today, which will hopefully settle some nerves. -
Yep, also getting a refund after sending through an email request.

Absolute charlatans. Waited in the queue for over 50 minutes to be told they were aware of the problem and to try the App. I had already done this without success. The record of the on-line conversation stated that I had left the chat but I hadn't. I've pointed this out to them in an email, which they updated on the chat record but no comment on the refund. I've emailed them back asking them to respond to my refund request but don't hold out much hope. I live overseas but anyone affected that was affected should request a refund and make a complaint to the UK consumer affairs.

We'll need to be prepared for a tough scrap and I'd be happy with a dour 1 v 0 win.

I suspect they may come and park the bus but these are the types of teams we should be dominating at home and running away with a convincing win. -
If we want to get top two then these are the types of games we need to win after the mid week setback.

Yes.

Let's get this season off to a winning start to kick start our promotion push.

Neither Gregory, Smith, Windass or Paterson are blessed with rapid pace. Wilkes has an abundance of pace and is a proven goal scorer at this level. He'll add something different to our current forward line so its a yes from me.

£1 million bid for Josh Windass submitted to SWFC

If he wants to go and we can get a decent fee then let him go. Let's learn our lessons from the past. -
WEDNESDAY - V - SUNDERLAND - (Play-off 2nd Leg) - OMDT
Gresh replied to Lord Snooty's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Tough game and Sunderland won't be any push overs but if we can hold our nerve and not let the occasion get to us we have enough quality to beat them on the night and secure a finals berth. -
Who is happier tonight after that?

Our better players rarely play two bad games in a row so we have lots of improvement in us that should help us to win the second leg and get to the final. -

Just checked the 1892 result and we lost 4 v 2. Hopefully history doesn't repeat itself and we can come away with a win. -

Another win to increase the feel good factor is what we need. I'm backing us to do this with a 3 v 1 win. -
Without stating the obvious we desperately need a win today. I think we'll do that but it won't be pretty!

He also lost his man for their goal.
