Totally agreed. Crazy decision by arteta

Let’s dissect some of the issues from that Man Utd performance last night; * Manager is hiding away in that penalty shootout and is rocking back and forth like some nutter. * New £65m signing Cunha misses the penalty to send Utd through after a terrible stuttering run up. * New £70m centre forward, Sesko takes the 10th penalty. Wow - looks like he’s shat his pants and that doesn’t look good, does it? * New £60m signing; Mbeumo misses the penalty to send the Mariners through. * Amorim goes on another bizarre post match interview talking in riddles. It’s not going to end well there.

Fantastic game of premier league football. Don’t deserve to be leading but that’s champions for you. Special praise for the ref…he’s reffed it brilliantly given how fierce the game has been.

Leeds GK is absolutely dreadful. He’s worse than Meslier / rubbish! Dives in slow motion and reacts a season behind.
-
United look a lot better and those 2 roaming number 10’s, Mbeumo and Cunha will improve them. Can see them finishing 6th. Arsenal were distinctly average and they didn’t look overly fit and sharp. But to get 3 points playing like that, they will take.

There is a guy on Row 19, Seat 110 who unleashes some of the biggest bombs you are likely to smell.

Is this starting to play out nicely for Chansiri?

I agree. I just think we are at the position of where he wants x and there are offers of y on the table and there is a clear differential. I think he will be gone shortly. -

How Many Tickets Left v Stoke?
Bouncing Owl replied to BIG D's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Think we have sold around 14500-15000 season tickets which is way down on previous seasons. -
It was a red card. I said it right at the time. If they hadn’t had a player sent off already, he would have walked. Really bad challenge and intent was there to ‘do him’. Hope he’s ok.

It’s going to be epic and one hell of a ride! In life, when you’ve experienced the poo and hard times, it makes the better times even more sweeter.

Really is one step at a time. People just need to just focus on new ownership and Chansiri is gone and that’s it! Keep it simple and don’t get ahead of ourselves!

We’ve heard rumours from various sources that mentioned American ownership with a Sheffield lad running the club. Think this update from Bizzle is certainly plausible and let’s hope it goes through. We’ve obviously had various names been mentioned. If I had to stick my neck out, I’d say Textor. We know he’s interested. -
Load of bullsh1tter wannabe’s on here. Want to make a name for themselves but it all unravels and becomes extremely embarrassing.

Reading this and other threads on here as made me realise that many owlstalk posters would have f***ed off if they were in Bannan’s shoes, probably down to their own selfishness. I also thought he would re-sign and stay at Wednesday. He’s a top lad, down to earth and he loves it here. We’ve loved him since the day he came in and that love is reciprocated. He’s a legend of the club and a Wednesday great and I hope, one day, he will hold the most appearances for Wednesday. I think he deserves this and is written in the stars. Top lad Baz!
-
Could you imagine when he gets subbed off in his last ever game at Hillsborough when he brings his career to a close? Wow - that will be some moment. He will get the best ever reception and that will be incredibly emotional to everyone associated with Wednesday.
-
Throughout the last few months, it was my firm belief that Barry would sign a new contract and stay at the club for the rest of his career. Whilst these last few months have been some of the worst in the history of Wednesday, it shows the love that Barry has for Wednesday and what is means to be Captain of this club. In my opinion, it’s the right decision and he will go down as a true legend and a Wednesday great for decades to come. An exceptional player but one who has shown great loyalty to the club in a very rocky time for the club. Absolute legend!

I think it will go absolutely nuts at home to stoke. Full blown pitch invasion and match abandoned. It’s gone past the point of no return.
