  1. Whether season ticket holders are there or not, they still get counted so moving to Grandstand from North Stand would allow fans still to attend but make the North look empty and no-one would know the difference if fans where hidden up in Grandstand.
  2. Here's an idea for the Middlesborough game ..... The North Stand is the one most visible by TV Camera's as the main cameras are in the South Stand so … If you have a season ticket in the North Stand, relocate your seat for one game to The Grandstand or Kop as you won't have to pay any extra with these being comparable or cheaper seats so you'll still be able to see the game you've paid for. At the end of the day whether a season ticket holder attends or not they are still added to the attendance so you might as well be there. WAWAW
  3. Can’t happen for a league game unless they move thousands of season ticket holders to another stand and the. The police and SAG have to agree to it too.
  4. This sort of thing used to happen quite regularly when we were in Premiership for games against the likes of Man United and Newcastle United et al. Knowing they could sell out to their home fans they’d allocate us say 3,000 tickets and then you’d have the option of another 1,500 after that but if you don’t sell out you have to pay for all those unsold tickets. iIt sounds like Grimsby were unwilling to pay for any unsold tickets at first and so told their fans if they didn’t sell them all they’d receive a refund (making it look like Wednesday were the bad guys) but now it looks like they’ve agreed to pay for any unsold tickets for which they’ll probably receive about 40% back anyway when gate receipts are shared anyway.
  5. And scored for Brizzle against the pigs to send them down in first ever playoffs.
  6. I was speaking to the programme sellers last night and they only printed 500 copies and Leeds United ordered 210 so not many more to sell last night.
  7. The same then applies to all those who went to Bolton for round 1 because both clubs receive an equal amount of monies from ticket sales.
  8. Think I’m right in saying the catering and match day programmes are contracted out so these businesses have paid for the right to offer their service to Sheffield Wednesday so it won’t affect anything with regards income fo4 5he chairman and just impact these external c9mpanies.
  9. Was this up near the back of stand in second half where he got led out by several stewards to a chorus of "If you wear a yellow jacket you're a ****"
  10. Try theterracestore.com as they have loads of stuff both retro and new From t-shirts to shirts, glassware to mugs, beach towels to sun hats ... loads of choice
  11. I hear Cadamarteri is a star of the future and we’ll struggle to keep him if the big boys come looking at him. He scored 5 a few weeks ago away at Everton in an incredible 7-7 draw and both goals in a 2-0 win against tha5 team from other side of the city. Hes 14 and has played in under 18’s and scored at that level too.
  12. 67 games now without a penalty going back to the playoff semi final at home to Peterborough when Johnson was brought down and Smith converted. in 1965 to 1966 Wednesday went 82 games without a penalty which I believe is the record for Wednesday at least.
  13. This was when they were reducing the top division from 22 to 20 over a couple of seasons so this season there were 22 teams in the league which being an odd number meant a team had two free matchdays when everyone else was playing and so Wednesday arranged this friendly on one of those.
  14. From memory we’d started the season well and so a mostly reserve side was picked for this friendly which was a few weeks into the season.
  15. It’s not ideal that the scanner picks up the QR code on season tickets but like I said around 12 games in and people still, haven’t figured out how to scan their card correctly often having their finger over the barcode they need to scan.
