100% agree it's not a Wednesday thing, I think no matter who you support, there will always be that group of folks. Her first game has to be Sheffield Wednesday! My parents are Leeds fans, and my in-laws are Luton fans; both want to take her to a game. I cannot let this happen!

Without wanting to sound like I'm playing my violin here, this is why I haven't returned to Hillsborough in a good 15+ years. The last time I was at a match. There were several comments aimed at me, such as the magical P-word and to F-off home. I know this is my fault for not reporting it at the time. I'm not the most confident person, and I presumed (stupidly) that this would only result in making the situation worse. The easy option in my head is to sit there and take it. I would love nothing more than to take my kid to watch her first match once I have brainwashed her enough to enjoy watching Wednesday, but I also want to protect her from this sort of thing, as long as I can. Not sure how I can explain to a 6 year old why people dislike her for being brown Love the club, just not all the fans, sadly.
