You just know that Giddings is reading this thread in a few hours and calling us all the names under the sun.

I've heard his comments before, he really dislikes this forum.

And he'll be in a bad mood too because he wasn't at the Lane.

I was surprised he called it off as I've seen games played in similar conditions BUT he probably thought the rain isn't stopping an I don't want to get to 70 mins plus and then have to call it off.

That pitch really is not in a good place when conditions are like today.

People say our pitch can be bad, and it can be in patches - but theirs is horrendous.   It needs digging up and serious work done underneath to stop this continuously happening.

We have enough injury history as it is, without having to put up with playing on a pitch like that in downpour conditions on a pitch that does not drain.

I dislike his commentating personally Too often behind the play. I often like good commentary to be able to describe what’s happening without being able to see it. He offers neither imho. Very poor for me.

I don’t usually go along with bashing reporters, pundits, broadcasters and journalists etc but in Andy Giddings case I make an exception. He’s absolutely god awful, I genuinely don’t know how he’s kept his job with RS for as long as he has

Staton is pretty good though to be fair.

Paul Walker was probably the best though.

The worst thing about the internet is that it's soooooo easy to create a pile on

Just post something negative about someone and you can guarantee you'll get people flocking like sheep to jump onboard the hate train

I'd dislike this forum if I was accused of being a piggy too

Off topic but Adam is a great lad.
played football with him for Eckington boys under 13’s.
we had a trip to Ireland in 1996 to play a few games - our best result was a 7-1 loss

lol

It was the first time I got píssed, stole 8 cans of Guinness from one of the parents chalets and píssed in my mates mum’s wardrobe all over her clothes.
good times.
