So there is nobody who supports more than one team. You explain why when he is on the vast majority of talk and callers are pigs....
-
What does he know he's a piggie. Every night he's on football heaven it's pig FM all hour.

Is Darren Moore back! Sounds like same discussion just different name.... Is he good enough, will he be good enough having had money.... Just need the... who else you gonna get??? Bit......

Mike Ashley in coming, along with....
ashley8 replied to RevOwl's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Ashley is acting like a backstop... if everyone dropped out he would get it and if that was at 20m we would get the 15 points deduction... so he's only interested in getting a bargin. Says alot about how much he would invest after taking ownership.... -
Not a single result or performance this season matters
ashley8 replied to MF TAZ's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Not giving them money for nothing! They can do there best and I will be proud of them. We cannot expect to get anything from this season but act as if nothing matters and we will get hammered every week. -
He was talking to the 4th official I'd it was what I saw.

Mike Ashley makes £20 mil offer to buy club 🙄
ashley8 replied to notsowiseowl's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
If true... then it would be a bid that puts him in the hat, only if everyone else drops out... so he's in but only for cheapest price he could get us for. They type of potential owners linked... (IF they want us) would walk over that bid. -

If true then he's just in, incase everyone else pulls out. -
With at least a competitive budget for league 1 and us being already seeing relegation as done this season, it's more role on next season to get started. So as happened with Birmingham, it's not a relegation because the club has lost its way. That it needs a complete overhaul with no money to do it. It's hopefully a very exciting time, so it won't be all depressing as much as just a frustration to have been forced down there by a man's incompetence that we are paying for. Still have to do the job. Would want to really hope we would have a squad realistically going for top spot. That's if we were to get any of those who have been mentioned..... One step at a time... need EFL to end those ridiculous embargoes. We have paid more than enough for none of OUR mistakes a Supporters!

He should be replaced when new owners take control. Until today I thought he just needed better players and bigger squad. However all that about he was the brains when Danny was here must be a load of crap. People said he was the brains for the attacking tactics..... no we have no attack. He plays Ugbo and Lowe who are both bloody lazy. Ugbo glacial. Even a team from a lower division can create chances against stronger opposition. All season we have nor had or done anything in the final third.

🦉 v ⚔️ The Steel City Derby: Official Matchday Thread
ashley8 replied to ReginaldD's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Amass quality. Rest not good enough. For the first time... Pederson should be replaced by new owners. Have been impressed with him getting alot out of a poor squad all season. He's not getting us any chances though. So as long as the other team score then we lose. Even teams leagues below can create chances against better teams -
Staton did say that Italian guy had given the club money upfront.... yet the guy had not and in the end was a tyre kicker... If you don't want to see what Bizzle etc say why do you keep looking at treads on this subject???

NEWS: DNA spray to be used at Sheffield derby
ashley8 replied to @owlstalk's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Is this spray legal.... How can they control who gets sprayed... Sounds just like a new toy -
Just click bait. So many of these now just using the gap in information to get attention.

I always find him hilarious. He hates us so much... and can't help but show how they are still in our shadow. No matter what they have done or do.... he cannot get it out of his head that we are bigger and better. Even the state we are in and their recent success. He knows how massive we are, far better than somw of our own supporters. He did say he's a football historian.... Last night he was being respectful and complimentary about us but you could feel his inferiority complex and his real fear what could happen if we get big impressive new owners....
-
Isn't he drawing his pension....
-
It doesn't matter what league your in! WOW it shows how long we have been down in the shadows... Let's hope new owners can spark some ambition in some of our supporters!!!
-
Sadly we need to move... the disaster must never be forgotten but we need a fresh start somewhere with a new stadium for where we want to be and not where we are. New owners if rich and American tend to build new stadium for where they intend to get to and then make it happen. We need to be among the clubs we.should be in the premiership top end.

Now tour making the point I was. What Hirst has down or not done is irrelevant to why we lost him. It wasn't he had better offers.... it was Chansiri being a moron fell out with his Dad, instead of recognising his potential. THEN the other opportunities came I to play.... he rightfully took it. We had the chance and he blew it. It wasn't a simple choice of us or others. Chansiri had already blown it so they went elsewhere.

Is a football atmosphere that important?
ashley8 replied to WimJunk's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
It's sadly modern football. Back in the 90s signing was start to finish. You got quiet times when games were really bad, getting a hiding or before a manager about to be sacked. Now it's tumble weed most of the game. It's up to players to get the crowd going.... seems these days a majority don't understand its our job to sing and support most of the time, inspired by the players to be more intense. Just sit and watch now. Need a culture change back to the atmosphere where silence was rare. -
If we had given him a chance to play and seen his potential enough to give him that chance and in showing his talent pay him more.... he would have been playing for us. Your point make no sense as we have not let him go now. We let him go before the ship it the fan. When his dad was trying to negotiate with the ridiculous moron.

Norwich City match could have MONUMENTAL consequences
ashley8 replied to @owlstalk's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
They want to see the potential. It may emotionally help but good business is done on facts not emotion. The facts are. When we were at the top of the premiership I the early 90s. We had 30k regularly. That's was with only a year or two of success. League Cup and promotion. Following two seasons challenging at the top of the premiership. That was when 30k plus was one of the biggest gates... so decades later with the biggest clubs holding double that. There is no reason, not to think that with success the potential is there to become level.over time with enough investment and continued success over a period of time. Level with Villa, spurs etc... continued success then man City and above. You have to see Wednesday as the potential to be as big as you want to make it, with good management on and off the pitch and huge money over time.... NOT a potential league 1 club next year with a squad of a few ageing senior pros and kids.... decades of of neglect, mismanagement and tiny investment, practically none.... any club unless.already a top 6 club would need a complete overhaul and you'd have to pay alot just to buy it. We are.peanuts now, with limitless potential..... if they do their homework they should see that. A full Hillsborough bouncing just shows a fanbase who took action to get rid of a bad owner.... love their club. That if treated.right they will always do everything for Wednesday. Because WE ARE WEDNESDAY!!!!! -
No. Bring back SWFC looks far more classy

SWFC IN ADMINISTRATION - CONFIRMED
ashley8 replied to Sambo89's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
The revenue of league 1 isn't good but new owners should look at Ipswich. They got relegated and its been said that their infrastructure wasn't quite ready to help them stay up. So with all the work needed if we could keep it to one season down there while putting in the infrastructure then not as bad. Plus the price of players and wages enough to get back up is tiny compared to the fundamental needed to get in to and then stay in premiership. Serious buyers should not be put off by relegation. -
Role up! Role up! Everyone back in the game!!! Place your bids please!!!
